Have narrowed down my bonnet search to this, which I <could> have before the end of next week......

Question: How hard would it be to fit myself ?
Any ideas of cost if I took it to a garage to fit?

 

Very easy to fit yourself with a helping hand I would say

 

Im sure if you was to give a few WMI members a drink they would help you fit it (dont fit it yourself, you drop it you will cry)

 

It's doable with 2 people but ideally you'd want 3 people to fit it.

its 12kgs lighter than the steel one thats already fitted, just dont think i could get it into the car to bring down - would be a week on saturday 0121, that id be able to get it.

Maybe I could bribe you and josh to visit me (maybe I should have a BBQ, its my turn anyways) though i dont do BBQs, but would pay out on a chippy supper for all who attended, will chat with helen, make sure nothing planned.

Just to have an idea, would anyone be interested in a chippy supper BBQ style house party say on Saturday 7th May ??

Venue would be my house, in Telford.

 

I would be willing to help. Telford isn't that far really. It really is just a case of making sure there's enough men to carefully and slowly lift the weight of the bonnets.

lol, it wouldnt be fun then, i def couldnt afford the changes Ive done/am doing and wouldnt want to p155 about with a 30k car. Least with the wrx (half the price), ive been able to build it up when funds become available.

It'll get there in about 3 years....

 

Wouldnt be a mini-meet dean, would be a friendly invite to WMI peeps who wanted to come up for sommit to eat (id be buying) and a have a drink (bring your own lol) and have a session
