Whats the best way to watch downloaded films on tv?

This pretty much does play everything (including native H.264 
).
It's USB 2.0, also has ethernet so you can attach it to your network and it will play stuff from your PC. You can also plug other USB devices into if you fill it up (at 1TB, that won't be anytime soon).
