Well, moving on from cloud cuckoo land ...

Been to see the car this morning and it is progressing very nicely indeed with the cage build. Will be ready for the body shop and spraying of interior by the end of the week.

Then it is the jigsaw puzzle of putting it back together

SHP are doing a CD full of all the roll cage build and interior work - last time they made the bolt in cage there was about 100 photos of it at various stages and close up of detail.

The quality of their roll cage building is second to none in my opinion and I only had to mention to the scrut for TA that Sunny at SHP was doing the cage and that was enough for them - says it all IMO.

Suffice to say there will be plenty of pics LOL

There are a few other things that will get done pre oulton when I get the car back next week.. not a huge amount though as the car was TA ready before I took the inside out. Mainly stuff for regs like plumbed in extinguisher (bought second hand), making a dash panel for switches and gauges lost through the interior re-jig, fitting windows/doors and some tidy up work and decals (and a detailing ).

Brakes (Ksport), Suspension (BC ER Series) and Power (600bhp) are 99.99% sorted and tested apart from a geometry set up (with paul) pre round 1.

Steve - I have no idea mate but he does not like doing dash dodgers - maybe a rear cage like I had before would be better.. Give them a call - SHP Motorsport

steve, rather than fit a cage, why not get a trailor for that journey home?

WTF is this guys problem?

Did Duncan beat him last year, even though he appears to have more power and less weight?

Cheers Dave - its getting there and will be ready in time.

Rear doors dropped down to ABW today for Daren to make some fibreglass doors the same widebody shape so that I can just bolt those on when I want to go racing.

Also got some nice mirrors coming from my friends over at J-W-Racing - cheers Jason

Just gave them a call about the cage but he said he never took any dimensions from your last install. I'm pretty sure my rear interior is the exact same size as your car but they don't know?

Mine was a custom rear cage but I am sure they will do a great job for you if you ask them to do it. It works out great value and certainly much stronger than a vanity cage.

I am going up to see mine first thing so will get some pics.
