Maybe the security services could start in Holland by not allowing people from Africa board a plane to America without a passport (but with baggy pants)?

I agree that in the very specific circumstances that DL described the intel services might 'have to' do things they shouldn't.

But most of the torture carried out in the name of the 'war on terror' is not conducted against the backdrop of an imminent threat. How do people feel about this? And how would we feel if 'our people' end up getting tortured by the 'enermy' as a result?
