F1CJE: how you doing chap?.
Many guys see the P1 and tell me they are going to have an RCM build but most have average mods and dont go through with it, & continue to big power, so hats off to you mate.
Waiting.......... I know what you are going through and the best advise I can give you is try to forget about your car. The more you think about it the worse it will become. What I can assure you of is the end result, and mate that will be a special day for you !!
This time round it's no problem for me because I have P1.
You will get all the crap that I went through fella, about £'s and how much it costs but just ignore them. Not ONE of the comments would have come from a guy that has driven a major RCM build. They are referring to something they no nothing about.
The chances are you will take it on the strip or on track, then you hear the next words of wisdom circulating. A phrase that is very common in the Subaru world is "the car would be quick in the hands of a (proper driver)" which would prove correct in some instances, but not here.
Ignore that one too, as it's the biggest load of boll***s you will ever hear, because very few (if any) would have any experience of driving a (big budget) car built within the RCM stable.
Unless your name is Olly Clark, Matt Clark, Chris Butler, Halldor Jonsson, MartiP1,Skullfudge & possibly a couple more, they have no experience.
Big budget RCM cars can be counted on one hand and are expensive for a reason and the reason becomes very evident when driving them.
Quoted from Daz Davies:
"I've told you, you're getting a metal straight edge wrapped round your knuckles if you dont drive it properly!!"
Ohii Trappy, just shut it Lips, & get the fookin thing built, then I can show you.
(I love him really)
