where's Yoza & Nat? - Goldsmiths (watches) 0% 36months interest free!
ROLEX, people know what a Rolex is, hence why ppl then say they want one over the other 'top quality' watches.... doesn't make it chav. (as said how many have scoobies?)
Rolex hold their value (if you get the right ones) how many other watches can you have ten years and still get what you paid for it and more back????
Yoza and nat were both good value and the site is worse without them.
Difference is some people hide behind computers and mouth off then dont like it when people try and catch up with them. You do that in a pub and you get a slap, not any different on the internet IMO.

1) I think Rolex design is lazy. They all pretty much look the same. Tried a few on a couple years ago, and forgot which was which as I was tryting them on.
2) Tell people you wear either a Tag or a Rolex, and most peoples response will be to ask "If it's real or fake"
2 things.

It was there for a few days too and I did RTM it at the time.
Am not getting into a bitch fight here, but I would have been upset about it too
I'd only have a Rolex if it was a rare one i.e Green Milgauss or Daytona. All the others are much the same
I'd have a JLC over anything, simply beautiful watches with a stunning movement

The rare Rolex are the ones that will increase in value, such as the stainless Daytona and Green Milgauss, waiting time for a Daytona was claimed to be about four years, in effect its probably nearer six. They will only appreciate if they are unworn, you will also not fix the price when its ordered, you will pay the market price at delivery. The diamond studdied watches will depreciate quite badly. So if its a nice reliable every day watch you need and at reasonable price then a GMTII or Sub is ideal. Buy these to wear, they should, if looked after keep their original price.
If you want a dress watch and have pots of money look elswhere. Patek Philippe, Jaeger Le Coultre, Zenith come to mind although there are lots of small stunning watch makers out there.
For me this is the watch I would love to own and wear...
Watches - Master Grande Tradition Tourbillon with perpetual calendar

Nice bit of watch **** though!
Thanks, some one with a sensible statement.

I think the books closed for now on new ones...I waited just over 2years for mine (and fixed the price £2550- when ordered as I took advantage of the 24months Interest free credit while I waited)
ho much are they RRP if you bought one now??? I think a better investment than money in the bnk or my car lolsoon after it went to 4years.. etc etc.

My rolex costs about £5k to buy now, how many chavs are walking around with those on
As for the fake comment I don't care if people think my watch is fake but it never comes up as no one really notices or cares

Ive been browsing the goldsmiths website quite a bit over the last few days.
I turn 30 in February and I'm sorely tempted to treat myself to a decent watch. I bought an expensive watch for my 21st (expensive for me £500 Gucci) which lasted until last year, and I havent worn a watch since. I quite like a couple of the Omega watches, one costs roughly 2k and the other 3k.
I'm just struggling to justify spending more on a watch than my cars worth!
Decisions decisions! It's sadly a case of champagne tastes and beer money!
