Custom Cages assured me it would be sent out last Thursday, called them yesterday to find out it's still there waiting to be dispatched. Only 4 weeks late and only 1 month and 26 days to go to the 1st round

Also a little disappointed with no TV coverage this year, would've been nice if this was communicated before parting with any cash

 

It was reported on the TA forum Zak - same as last year though with no coverage then.

 

according to the advert on the inside back cover of autosport this week it has "vast media coverage"

Have considered entering the Brands round as a one hit wonder, depends if my new engine is together by then.

 

i havent seen 1 person fully loaded and ready to go duncan was out testing at snetterton, think he is the only person with their car built

i will be there at round 1. not paid yet, and dont intend to until my car is 100%, if that meens doing 1 hit wonders then so be it. i am not having a year like 2009 where i payed for everthing and didnt manage to compete in my own car. i am at anglesey on 26th march testing and oulton on 7th april testing, if all ok then i will pay. if its not too late.

They are only a set of AP 6 pots. Just winding you guys up I have another clearer pic with the caliper writing on.

He just brakes very late. That photo is in the braking zone at Druids at Oulton, so pretty much the fastest part of the track.

You can brake more or less the same as with carbon carbon anyway in a saloon car. Not worth the £20K for a proper setup IMO, and you can't use them on the road.

No, not this year. I don't have the budget and I have a new baby girl added to the family since November so thats also a factor. Also they are reducing the track time in 2010, and I can get more track time on a test day or track day.

I proved what you can do with low power and standard engine parts in 2009 (350 ish at Oulton, raised to 400 ish at Snetterton) which was our aim. To go back in I would want to do Club Pro but it's such a mess to put a proper cage in etc, and then I can't fit the kids in when I want to.

For the same season costs you could do some arrive and drive championship.

I might do OHW at Oulton, but not sure yet. I would like to do Oulton if I can. The car is doing 1m 52s now on the full circuit, where we were only doing 1m 56s just before TA last year, so I think we would be pretty quick.

We will see.

It's all brakes and corner speed. The handling is just amazing. It's around 1366 Kgs but with a slight increase to 430bhp now so that has helped a bit. Oulton is my local track too though. I must have done 1000s of laps there in the car and on race bikes. The car just isn't scary compared to a fast litre sports bike.

You going to the Oulton trackday the day before TA 1st round?

 

I start this year as well with a almost standart 2006 2liter spec c. It´s my first year and I´m really excited
