I'd be very interested in one of these if you're still making them, probably 1L for boot fitment.

Couple of questions:

What second pump (swirlpot to engine) are people using? Like many I have a Walbro 255 in the tank, standard fpr at moment, and target power is about 400bhp (currently 340bhp). Are there cheaper alternatives to the Bosch 044, as I don't think I need a flowrate that high?

Any reason for the inlet from the tank being half-way down the pot (approx, from the pics) as opposed to just above the bottom outlet? Would have thought it would be good to keep the cool inflowing fuel as far apart from the warm return as poss.

Great work fella

Andy

Andy you can get walbro inline 255 pumps, a bit cheaper than the 044 but I don't know if they are quieter

Ah, is the Bosch noisy?

With under bonnet installation (presumably using the tinman design ) I guess temperature is a potential issue, but what about safety as well?

Yeh He dissapeard After the Oil Catch Can he sold Me Caused my Engine to Go Pop.

the Breathers on it were severely restricted. for starters 8mm ID Fuel hose would fit the inlet / outlet pipes. the ID of the pipes on the can was just 6mm, however, where they were welded onto the catch can, the weld had blocked up most of the pipewhen the engineering shop said their was under 1mm hole for the Gasses to go through.

this pushed oil all over my engine bay, and snapped a Ring Gland. causing 0 compression in one piston, leaving me with a Fooked 2.5 engine with less than 3k on it.

He did promise me a New catch can with the correct size pipes as per the RCMS catch can. but then he vanished right away.

I had the -8an fitting for the return to Sump.

I still have all the P.M's from him and he states in them it was the largest he done.

He claimed to have ordered in larger sizes especially for me it was right after that he dissapeared.
