Default Anyone after a swirlpot? nice and cheap.

Right guys, basically im upgradeing my fuel system at the moment on my type r. Im lucky enough to be able to sort myself out a swirl pot for a good price as im an aliminium fabricator for a liveing. Ive ordered all my materials today from work to start makeing myself one next week but i ordered more than i need to make a couple more to eaither sell cheap to you guys or if no one wants one on her i will put them on ebay as i can sell them much cheaper than any of them on there. I obviously carnt put up any pics at the moment but as soon as ive made it i will put a pic up, i can assure people tho that the quality of them will be as good as any you could buy elseware. Im not asking anyone to pay for these now obviously just wanted too see if anyone would be interested so i can work out how many i can make with what im getting. Price on them would be £25 delivered £20 collected , they seem to start at around £40 on ebay and go up from there. Anyway anyone thats interested please just put your name down so i can get numbers, cheers

hummm, may well be interested in one of these mate. Pm me when you have a pic and or when they are ready. I might also have some work for you if you are interested in privet jobs. My father in law has a radical race car Home - Radical Sportscars and his Dry Sump Oil Tank is not up to the job so he either needs it altering or a new one making. I can supply dimensions. Pm me on this as well if you are interested mate..

STI_Baly im in wrexham , just on the boarder of north wales and shropshire.

Coops1 will send you a pm now mate.

Rice rocket, Im running standard setup at the moment but have on the odd time had fuel surge which we all know isnt good hence why im getting onto it. Ive also just painted up a nice inlet manifold for my car and am doing parallel fuel rail mod so while im doing that i want to do the complete fuel system, once its done its done and i can forget about it then ready for when i want some serious power.

As i said, as soon as ive made the first one, Should be wed or thurs as ive had to order small pipe for the inlets and outlets, then i will get some pics up. Im planning on doing 2 differant types, one with a flat base and one with a cone base ( apparently this helps with the swirl so i will give it a go).

Loony toon, keep and eye on this post mate, as soon as pics are up then they will be ready.

cheers guys.

Will pm you now buddy. Just so people know i can make these to what ever size people want ie 1L or 2L. I can also do an fittings yes but The price would go up slightly with these as i would have to buy the fittings so it would be £20 plus the price of the fittings. Im trying to find somewhere local too me where i can buy the fittings but haveing no luck yet, only place i can get them at the mo is ebay, they are about £3-£5 each on there depending on size. Demon tweeks up the road from me sell them but they are quite expensive there i think, i may ring them tho see if they will do me discount for bulk. Choice of number of inlets and outlets also if fine yes mate, people just need to let me know what they want. As i said, they will be £20 collected £25 delivered, unless an fittings are wanted then it will be plus the fittings. cheers.

Right guys, here is two ive made up today, havent recieved my AN fittings yet so these ones are the push on ones. Made a 1L and a 2L one. Gave them a quick rub over with a scotch pad but if you want to polish them its easy with some metal polish and a rag, or a buffer in a drill is even better, They come up mirror finish with enough polishing. I have made them to a guide i found , The pipe positions are as it said, one right at the bottom ( feed to engine ) One slightly higher on other side ( feed from tank ) Apparently that causes it to swirl Then the one in the side on top is return from the rails ( right at top so warm fuel isnt going straight back into the engine ) and finaly the one in the middle at very top is the return to the tank ( right in middle as apparently , naturaly any air in there will rise to the top up the middle and out ) . Now im no expert in the design of these but it all sounds right too me. Sorry the pics are not the best, dont have great light in the house and its dark outside . Anyway if you like what you see and still want one just need to know what size and weather its for push on ( as in pics ) or for AN fittings. Any other requests then feel free to ask and will see what i can do. cheers

Hopefully the AN fittings will arive asap so i can get cracking with some of them, I will also try get some better pics tommrow when its light.
