The pump will go next to the pot, either mounted vertically or horizontally as space allows. I'll use the OE pump as a lift pump from in-tank and a Walbro 255 as the external high pressure feed pump.

I was wondering if I would have to uprate the intank pump form my walbro 255...like the idea of using the OE pump, thanks

I still have issues understanding, how this will install, which version to get and basically how it works.

I hope the guys who receive theirs, will link some pics about the install...

As for the item, it looks great, welding is topnotch

Cheers,

R.

I have read through. A couple questions.
1. Do you need 2 fuel pumps? (One in the tank and on in the boot connected to the boot fuel lines?)
2. I understand the whole "sparkling water" effect, but do these really eliminate fuel-surge?
3. Is fuel pressure affected by any means? (If yes how so?)

Lastly, Ellis, is it possible that one day you would like to make an "in-tank" solution?

Cheers,

R.

Hi Mate,

Thanks for the clear pic!

Next concern.
I have a Classic Walbro 255 LPH and an OEM GC8 (180 LPH?) fuel pump.

1. Is it okay to have "assymetric" pumps?
2. Which loop should get the higher LPH pump?

Cheers,

R.

OEM pump - leave as is in tank. Yes, you need two pumps!
Walbro - use as feed pump from swirl pot to filter and then fuel rails.
Unless your car can empty 1ltr of fuel from the smallest pot during a long bend then you shouldn't have fuel surge any more.
Pressure should not be affected as the regulator is between the fuel rail return and the swirl pot.
