Capacitors do exist which will store for these lengths of time depending on the resistance and inductance circuitry ...... very little power is required.

I wouldn't wear a watch with Tachymeter written on it
Looks ok though, will probably rub off with a bit of wet and dry

i bought a eco drive few years ago cost £300, watch the face it scratches v easily, but my seamaster is almost scratch proof, shame really as the eco drive is a nice watch but the face really lets it down
