and to add some fire to this equation, frank lampard is as bad and i wouldn't want either of them near my team. we can all go on about bout rooney, but what we forget is that he was bloody young not captain of his country and thats the only time its happened, he's now settled down got a family and in the form of his life. yet these two seem to think its there right to **** anything that moves even when they've got partners and children.

At the end of the day who honestly gives a sh*t about players private lives? Jt is one of the best CB, Steven G is the best CM and Rooney is without question the best CF. I couldn't give a rats *** if their all f*cking each others mrs or grandma's. If JT shouldn't be England captain who should??

JOHN Terry's future as England captain was on a knife-edge last night after it emerged he had sex with a 12-foot octopus.
Terry broke at least two of its three hearts
The England and Chelsea skipper refused to deny the fling with the eight-legged sea creature amid claims he also paid for it to abort their ink-filled, mutant love baby.
According to friends of the millionaire footballer the sex happened when Terry and two of his Chelsea team-mates took part in an all-day drinking session at the Sea Life Centre in Great Yarmouth.

The source added: "Should he resign? I'm not sure. On the one hand he is quite good at shouting while he's playing football, but on the other hand he may have had gay sex with a drunken octopus."
Meanwhile a survey of English boys aged between six and 14 has revealed that more than 80% now want to cheat on their wives with the long-term octopus of a close friend or team-mate, but only if they can then pay for it to have an abortion.
A spokesman for the Professional Sportsman's Association said: "John needs to consider his position very carefully because it is hugely important who captains the England football team."

TBH, all these comments about what a good captain he is on the field, and what a solid footballer, just cut no ice.
As ENGLAND captain, he is an ambassador and a figurehead for the sport.
That means he must be whiter than white, both on, AND OFF the field.
So no leading his teammates across the field to harrass and manhandle officials.
No spitting on opponents.
No off field shenanigans like parking in a disabled zone for three hours, p*ssing on a disco floor in public or sh*gging teammates' wives

Paul you just don't get it do you? As a captain, especially of the national team he is a supposed role model for many young kids who are football mad and their favourite footballers are their heroes. Those heroes need to be whiter than white to be ideal role models, not cheating filthy scum that is John Terry
