I haven't always had AWD vehicles and I know which type I prefer in the wet. Especially if it's a fast get away I'm after.

What about if you want the fast wet stop after the fast wet getaway. All that AWD bulk dragging out the stopping distances.

set the limit to 22k then as this would eliminate the megane as it's over the price limit?? then enter the focus st and then see what renault has to wheel in???
renaults are'nt that cheap tho, when the 197 first came out i went with my ex to price one up, she wanted the same spec as her 172 which was fully loaded, the 197 came out just shy of 19k at that point i walked out laughing and wishing the sales man the best of luck???

You lot own one of the most universally acknowledged ugly series of motors with the most boring current model line up and you still like to have a pop.
Comedy stuff.

"It doesn't rain every day" But that also means it's not dry every day either. Apparently around the London region it rains on average approximately 140 - 150 days of the year. That's a large proportion for you to have to take it easy in your FWD car and the rest of the "dry" days mine is still as good if not better!
As for the bulk dragging out the stopping distances.... That's why we have big brakes as standard!

People may think the cars are ugly - but can't that be said about anything, men, women, buildings, we all have differing tastes - thank god.
Personally, I have always wanted a Scoob, I am now lucky enough to own a Scoob and I love drving my Scooby - again my opinion - sad in some eyes, but jealousy on many others!
And do you know what is so funny? You wanting to chat to all of us so much - do you secretly want to be in our gang? Everyone's welcome you know!

Lets have some of your non-twaddle input.

Okay, so I am not a huge fan of the new Subaru - although I wasn't asked for my opinion by the design team (perhaps I was out of the country!)

Don't worry I can see the good side to Scooby ownership as I'm sure you can see some gallic hot hatch advantages - even though you are very reeeeluctant to admit it.

Your chap on here, Budgie popped over to the Megane site and his first post was 'shall we meet at Brands then'. Too prove what? A 460 Bhp Tein fettled Scoob is faster than a 250 Bhp Megane - Yes. A Megane R26R is faster than a stock 2007 WRX? - Yes. How about this factory built Megane Trophy being faster than Budgies Scoob around the Indy?:
Are we talking about stock family cars, or tuned kit, or stuff in the same price bracket. Tell you what - have a think and let me know what rules suit you best.
