STILL AWAITING SOME ONE TO GIVE ME A DESCENT SUSPENION SETUP FOR A UK SCOOBY!!![/quote]

Sorry, but I have been drinking and need to say this, It will not be even vaguely constructive!
. Vauxhalls are PANTS.. Straight up. I drive loads of different models every week, up to the V6 omega's etc and find them all absolutely hilarious! The only one that I really liked was an old K reg auto carlton. actually comfortable, came with the good old 'brake'
button on the stick and you had to completely switch your brain off and go to sleep to drive it! Unfortunatly, some colleague-type bint wrapped it around a coach. None of my colleagues like driving them at all, bar 1 and that just because he has had them all of his life. He is 25 and is on his 13th Vauxhall, a Vectra V6 SRI. Build quality???? Dude, I'm sure there must be a max power forum somewhere around. You never know, you might meet up with Nova Boy and talk about all of the scoobies that you could whip in yuuuuuuur dreams!

If you want to keep taking sub-60 bends at a ton+, go ahead, One day you will probably end up roof first in a field, unable to figure out how your shock(s) could have punched your rusted-through bodyshell and flipped you!
Like I said, nothing constructive, just felt like taking the **** out of some random stranger givin' it larj!
Come on, flame me, I dare's ya!

Before I bought my legacy my 3 previous cars were all pug 205's . When I started driving the legacy I thought the handling was crap compared to the pugs until a mate who also drives a scoob gave me a few driving tips and I also learned from the driving techniques website . An awd car involves a completely different driving style than a fwd car , more akin to a rwd car . Maybe your brother hasn't adapted his driving style to suit the car .
I suggest he spends his money on a day at a rally school driving an awd car rather than more springs . I did that and 2 weeks later at a track day I was able to challenge an MX5 despite having a much heavier car ( on std suspension ) but similiar bhp . He was quicker up the straights but I was catching him on every corner purely because I knew where the limits of my car were and he didn't .
