Division Bell is a cracking album! I've seen the Floyd a couple of times in the flesh, awesome band.

Let also here it for the Final Cut, another great Floyd album

Another great band, often forgotten...Marillion (I'm a bit of a prog rock nutter)

I love The GFinal Cut, just magic. The Gunners Dream and Not Now John stick out for me.

Also, Animals is recommended.

Floyd only come second in my book to ELP, who were massively (IMHO) before their time !!

Division Bell is up there with the best albums ever though !!!

Good Call

No, I wasn't old enough to see that.

I seem to remember the Floyd fillum being the supporting feature, but I can't remember what the main pic was. Might have been Clockwork Orange (I know I lied about my age to see that! ).

Sosbanite...........did you know Hugh Padgham?
I never had the good fortune but being a Gabriel and Genesis fanboy I am aware of his greatness I did not get involved at the recording stage, only when they came to film the promo videos. I spent too much time supporting pop videos, commercials and features from the early to mid 90's !!!!
Are you connected?

Did someone also mention Marillion?

Another 40 something here

Love Floyd but just listening to Fish/Marillion all the time ATM. Ripped some cassstte tapes to MP3 and decided the quality was not good enough so slowly buying all the remastered CDs. I'd forgotten just how good they were.

Might be!

Got to see them live a few "cough" years ago doing the Momentary Lapse of Reason Tour.

It's an event not a concert

Marillion! another OMG moment

Grendel - 17 minutes of brilliance.

Not to hot on the new stuff. Fish was the man. Huge stage presence as well. Market Square Heroes', Chelsea Monday, Sugar Mice the list goes on.

"Forgotten Son's" could easily be about Afghanistan.
