Silver blob STi with gold wheels parked in Abertillery.
Lo-rise spoiler though (not WRX) - were they an optional feature?

Was there a rally or something in Abertillery yesterday?

FIVE in the space of a couple of hours.

Gleaming black WRX classic.
Blue STi blob, again gleaming.
Another very tidy blue WRX classic.
A noised-up green classic with Solberg decals.
Despoilered crystal grey WRX, blob from the reg (only saw the back of it going past the pub).

That type 20 is a heck of a machine.

I still have my hawkeye STI but just bought a red pug 106 for commuting so if you see a guy in a red pug wave that will be me.

Having said that I will probably be in the scooby when up in Aber as I am usually only there in the weekends and most
Likely will be giving the Impreza a run.
That's me in the Rossi replica, parked outside our Rehab centre

Not a rehab centre bwyty, a place where people re-find themselves and become far stronger for having done so.

Drop me a pm so we can compare cars, on a run to EV and Brynmawr.

I was probably a bit obtuse and didn't put it across as well as I could have.

'Rehab' tends to imply a process that removes faults or retrains people ie. it's external to the person.

It takes a lot more for a person to initiate it themselves, to realise something's amiss and to find the inner strength to seek assistance in order to find their way back to their old selves.

I have nothing but admiration for VO residents, members or whatever the correct term is.
Those who provide that support are also very worthy of mention.

Thanks.

I haven't.

Black blob WRX on the mountain road between New Tredegar and Bedwellty.

You looked a bit surprised as we passed each other.
Don't know if it was the car or the speed I was doing !

Version 3/4 Type R in Blue with offset front number plate coming down from Caerphilly to the A470 this afternoon in rush hour sounded very nice!

I passed a blue hawkeye STI with Silver wheels at the traffic lights between Gilfach and Pengam.

That is the first I have seen on the roads since I bought mine last September.

Luckwelshchap's Type 25 being the only other blue hawkeye Impreza I have seen.

I was travelling incognito in my Red 106.

Umm - mine's a Type 20 (which is probably unusual for a Hawk ?)

Abertillery must be the mother lode for scoobys.
Blue 08 Hawk parked outside Physique in Aber, 10 yards from my house.

oops sorry Dai I admit that I sometimes get confused over whether the Hawkeye is a Type 20 or 25.

My memory is terrible presently.

I got you text about possibly meeting but we didnt make any plans.

Life is hectic, what with work and family but I try and make it to aber on weekends if i can.

I am hoping to pop up tomorrow at some point - ideally in time to have a look at the car show.

If you are about I can stop by for a catch up. If you are busy I understand.

Lovely looking P1 parked up on somebodys drive by the side of the a40 (Scethrog Bends) , private plate aswell. Fairly certain i saw the same car back ladt year driving through town, have no idea if its local though or someone visiting family. Either way, a beautiful car nonetheless.
