for an '05 JDM STi
1st - 3.636
2nd - 2.375
3rd - 1.761
4th - 1.346
5th - 1.062
6th - 0.842
FD - 3.9 (1:1 drop gear)
Speed = (rpm*0.07575)/(gear ratio*final drive)
The 0.07575 is how many miles per hour a 235x45/17 wheel/tyre does per revolution. If you're on 225's, then it's 0.07469

Although IIRC the Gearboxes only 1st gear is the same, all others are different 
UK Sti 2.0ltr or 2.5ltr 7+Krpm
1st 3.636 max speed @ max Rpm 35mph
2nd 2.235 max speed @ max Rpm 57mph
3rd 1.521 max speed @ max Rpm 83.5mph
4th 1.137 max speed @ max Rpm 112mph
5th 0.971 max speed @ max Rpm 131mph
6th 0.756 max speed @ max Rpm 168mph (but ECU speed limited)
JDM 2.0ltr 8+Krpm
1st 3.636 max speed @ max Rpm 40mph

The SPDA - Transmission Chart Going by this chart 1 to 4 on the uk and Jdm Sti are the same 5/6 are different
does seem that on MY01-04 UK (2.0ltr) only 5th/6th are different but thought the UK Sedan gearbox from 2001-2007 were the same.I will modify my original post to reflect that
Just for the UK MY05 onwards the 2.5ltr models

just looks like 3rd gear different on a HatchThe WWW.subaru.co.uk site used to be so useful and accurate but they have the hatch tech spec. showing 5 gears
so i asssumed it same sixth as the MY05 UK Sti 2.0ltr (according to USA site My01-04)
