Still waiting for mine to come .. but spoke to Ian yesterday and he did say that 5 or it could of been 6 sets will be going out today, so hopefully tomorrow I will get mine...

I hope so as I haven't driven my car now for two weeks and I am missing all this great weather

Plus I need to test my Tek2 somemore

Stephen.. I blame you and your damn Tek2 for my last set of disc warping......the car is just so damn fast now

You actually spoke to Ian! Everytime I call, it is either engaged or straight to answer phone.

FAO Ian at Godspeed:

Ian,

Apologies for doing this here but all other methods of contact have failed.

I have a mate who has had an order in with you since December 2001 for a set of brakes for a Mk2 Escort rally car. As stated above he has been unable to contact you and asks if you can call him on the number below.

Chris Shackleton - 07976 436734.

Many Thanks,
Ken

I'm working on engine acceleration based wastegate solenoid duty cycle compensation at the moment. AKA same boost pressure in all gears - like those aftermarket boost controllers you pay through the nose for. I'm not 100% convinced my stock shafts will take 312lbft in 1st gear though - might have to tone it down a bit. Gotta be careful with heat soak in 1st too.

If you're talking about only having four bolts to rejoin the caliper halves, I think you're meant to re-use four of the old ones on the inner caliper bolts. The new ones are too big, since they would foul the casting - I suggested supplying an allen bolt version for those four.

Cheers

Cheers Steve... tempting upgrade. Assume no ones had one blow up yet (not wanting to start a flame war but this is from PE and a certain 22b owner could be listening... ;-)

No it's not from PE, it's from EcuTek. This is off topic on this thread - start a new one or join one of the others if you want to discuss mapping.

Cheers

Ian - just to stop the endless hassling you're getting, how about a list of dispatched orders (with dates sent), and approximate dates for ones yet to be sent out? Just so we vaguely know! I realise the 'expected dispatch dates' could cause whinging if missed, but if everyone notes that this is just 'approximate' you may have some happier customers!
Myself, for one, would like a vague date as I'm getting late for a service which these would be part of - but I don't want to slow you down

Hi , Mark A , Steve Sherwin and Dave YHM , to answer the date queries , we have about two thirds of the kits finished now and either delivered or on there way , I will give myself a comfortable time scale of 2 weeks to have everyones kits finished form now , as the ones left came in at the same time there is no order they are being finished in , I will contact you the day your kit is being sent out so you know to expect it the next day .
I hope this is OK for all.

Many thanks for you patience, Ian
