FAO Ian at Godspeed:
Ian,
Apologies for doing this here but all other methods of contact have failed.
I have a mate who has had an order in with you since December 2001 for a set of brakes for a Mk2 Escort rally car. As stated above he has been unable to contact you and asks if you can call him on the number below.
Chris Shackleton - 07976 436734.
Many Thanks,
Ken

Thanks for all the hard work you've been putting in, guess it's good to get so many orders though!

I'm working on engine acceleration based wastegate solenoid duty cycle compensation at the moment. AKA same boost pressure in all gears - like those aftermarket boost controllers you pay through the nose for. I'm not 100% convinced my stock shafts will take 312lbft in 1st gear though - might have to tone it down a bit. Gotta be careful with heat soak in 1st too.

Ian, My kit turned up yesterday, thanx.
BUT i think there are some bolts missing, can you give me a call a.s.a.p on 07967 826103 or 01268 541982, as we're in the middle of fitting them!!!

If you're talking about only having four bolts to rejoin the caliper halves, I think you're meant to re-use four of the old ones on the inner caliper bolts. The new ones are too big, since they would foul the casting - I suggested supplying an allen bolt version for those four.
Cheers

Ian - just to stop the endless hassling you're getting, how about a list of dispatched orders (with dates sent), and approximate dates for ones yet to be sent out? Just so we vaguely know! I realise the 'expected dispatch dates' could cause whinging if missed, but if everyone notes that this is just 'approximate' you may have some happier customers!
Myself, for one, would like a vague date as I'm getting late for a service which these would be part of - but I don't want to slow you down

Hi , Mark A , Steve Sherwin and Dave YHM , to answer the date queries , we have about two thirds of the kits finished now and either delivered or on there way , I will give myself a comfortable time scale of 2 weeks to have everyones kits finished form now , as the ones left came in at the same time there is no order they are being finished in , I will contact you the day your kit is being sent out so you know to expect it the next day .
I hope this is OK for all.
Many thanks for you patience, Ian
