Okay, so this is my dilemma.

I really want to come to this meet, BUT:

1. I'm scared
2. I'm very scared
3. I'm even more scared than that.

Don't ask me why, I don't know (other than the fact that I'm a girly and I don't know anyone). All I see in front of the Pub door is a huge great brick wall that I cannot smash my way through .

I don't know. Someone to tell me how nice you all are and how you don't bite etc, etc.

I'm just having a confidence crisis over this. You're talking to someone who spent 4 days in November checked into a hotel in Swansea on her own and chasing about S.Wales along with about 1 million other people that I didn't know. That didn't bother me in the least. This does - like I said, I don't know why. I know that if I want to meet other like minded people, I have to get over it, but knowing what I should do is not doing it.

OK TB555.....we're all really nice & don't bite!

I went to my first meet (Much Hadham last Spring) not knowing quite what to expect but suffice to say I've been to plenty more since.

One of the attractions of owning a Scooby is the strong community that surrounds ownership and the ability to meet up for a drink & a chat, bit of tyre kicking, a drive about etc.

Just turn up!!

There will be a few other girls there, including Scoobychick and my Mrs. Most blokes will take their other halfs so usually theres a 60/40 split between men and women.

You can always leave early if it's not for you, but to be honest I think you'll have a great time.
