I went to my first meet with this lot in march02 you could not wish to meet a nicer bunch. They dont bite. They make you feel very welcome just want to meet like minded people who enjoy the same thing iam now addicted to the bl**dy scooby thing. To be honest i wish i had done it three years earlier. But i to lacked the confidence too. Now look at me talking to total strangers. What wher we always taught at school never talk to strangers!!!
Ha thats a joke if we didnt this board wouldnt be a success and you wouldnt be thinking of coming on saturday. I lack confidence too but if i had given in to it i wouldnt be writing this now.
You could always mail one of the ladies on her to go with you or meet you somewhere else first to help you

TB: I think we spotted each other last night near the station in Hatfield. I just about got a wave off in time to see yours (if it was you.. green sport). I must admit that I nearly missed you, one of the first things I notice are the bonnet scoops. oops. Will change my technique to foggies.

Shelf confession: Just been looking back through this thread and I noticed that I was about to turn up at the wrong threehorse shoes. DoH. No, I had been lazy and not looked at the maps that y'all had put up, I think i must have just read Hertford -> threehorse shoes and assumed that one in Smallford. Anyway, I now know. i know the real one though, and its still only 2mins drive from me
