I have Rota Torques on both my current scoobs. I have many sets of wheels but these are the ones I come back to.

Weight wise they do well compared to standard OEM wheels and are certainly lighter than the PWRC1's from prodrive which seemed to be very heavy.

My Classic fitment rotas...

My Rotas 17x7.5 ET48 with Toyo T1R's 215/40/17

Tyres Weigh 9.36kg
Wheels Weigh 8.45kg (balanced)
STi Wheels weigh 9.73kg (balanced)

Rarerims and Rotashop have always been top notch in product and service.

Entertaining Thread? yes
Worrying? YES

but your right anything can be broken (except superman of course )

there are lots of pics of broken wheels BUT what springs to mind is how many WRC teams suffer from broken wheels? This with a multi-million £ budget and buying the best/strongest wheels money can buy, makes you think?

what we should do is get a petition together from ALL the car forums complaining that the government DOES NOT use OUR road tax to repair the roads in this country! £500 a year and its like a third world country out there with regards to roads

anyone know how to set-up a E-petition???

Hi there!!

Firstly, sorry for such a late reply... heaven forbid having to work a job where i dont use a computer!!

This thread was not meant to be damaging or offensive to Rota UK or Rota users. It was a tongue in cheek attempt to get a mate to buy some JDM bling rims, rather than something else.

All the info i posted in my opening thread was easily found via a google search. None of the pictures or articles are my handy work. Like stated, just what is already out there.

So i apologise to Rarerims, and wont make such threads in future.

Many thanks

Mat (eating humble pie, whilst still enjoying his ****ty Taiwanese Works!)
