Neat, yes.

Not the best positioning, quite probably.

OK This was posted a LONG LONG time ago, but this being my first car with a speedo cable I pulled the dash out without realising I wouldn't be able to put the damn cable back on. 45 minutes later I gave up for the night and I've just come across this simple but damn useful bit of info. Thank you! I'll go back and try again in the morning.

Ridiculously old thread I know but when I changed my dash lights for the led bulbs I get very spot specific light and doesn't illuminate properly with no light at all in the temp or fuel gauge. Any suggestions as yours looks spor on
