Default 2010 STI HATCH REAR FOGLIGHT CONVERSION

have recently changed rear red foglight lens to a clear lens and have installed a red t20 capless lamp......has anyone who has done this conversion had any M.O.T issues,as the lamp i've installed doesn't seem to look any more powerful the the normal tail lights.

Change the reflectors in the bumper to the Carlab designs units & hard wire them into the car. Then convert your clear cluster to an extra reverse light.

I thought cars were only supposed to have one rear foglight, so as to not get them mixed up with brake lights? Or has that changed?

Not a legal requirement but as long as they are a matched pair that's fine or central or offside positioning.

The Road Vehicles Lighting Regulations 1989
Where two rear fog lamps are fitted to a motor vehicle first used on or after 1st April 1986 or to a trailer manufactured on or after 1st October 1985 they shall form a matched pair.
