NO carriage, I will ask about VAT but I would imagine (see hope) they include.

 

Just one question: 8*17 offset 48 clears the Brembo's?

 

I was told by another supplier who enquired rimstock that 8x18 ET48 do. Not sure about 8x17, I have emailed Merlin, or you can try to enquire from rimstock itself.

 

I have 8x17's on my classic and they clear Brembo's. I have tried to get the offset off them to update my order but it has been powder coated over and I cannot read it. Is it possible to measure the offset, if so where is the measurement taken from

team dynamix do a pdf they can email you to help measure the offset. contact the sales dept.

 

I don't see the point of quotations without VAT but don't get me started...
Here's the reply:
"prices are + VAT at 17.5% unless you can provide company details and VAT numbers -- we can then supply with no VAT."

The market is not moving out there so we should get quotes from a few suppliers before we decide on which is the best (see cheapest) for us.
I can try emailing another one or two and see what they can do.

Anything that is supplied from the UK to anyone in the UK should have vat added/included in the price irrespective of whether you are a private individual or a company.

Just to let you all know have emailed Topgear Alloy wheels. He got back to me saying will look in to this in the morning as something there very interested in doing... Said should have details done by mid day so will get back on here then.

From the other 3 guys I contacted (other than Merlin) they either can't supply single wheels or the prices are a joke to say the least.

Yeah defiantly confirm sizes again. I'm thinking ditch the et45 and go for 48 as I would like to lower mine.

fpan, that is excellent for me to. I have emailed team dynamics with all the info I can read on the wheel including a load of numbers engraved on the back to see if theycan come up with the offset. It wont be a wild offset i think it may be 45 but the price is good for me. Thanks for sorting this out

Guy's, I've been seriously thinking about getting a set of these for a while, only just noticed this group buy.
Has anyone got a good picture of 18's on a black hawkeye?? I can't seem to find many on Google images or the various other searches I have done.

What I don't get is why we are getting conflicting info from different suppliers, so it looks like they are not trying to enquire from rimstock the possibility of 'made to order'

What I mean is:

Check the brochure in page 1. Forged ones are different models from TD, TD1.2 are cast.

 

Thanks and also why on the brochure does it say the 1.2's in black 8.0 x 18 are £185, per wheel i assume, that's £740 for a set, so how is the GB price so low and on other sites considerable lower too? Most sites are selling them around £500. What's with the brochure?!

Brochure lists retail prices from rimstock obviously through a GB prices are cheaper.
Which site is selling them for 500 and is that with VAT?
Can you ask them if they can do a GB?
