scoobyclinics turbo's just got billet I mean better!
Thanks for your the comments!
It was more trying to escape the car, I´m quite scared with the power it makes!
Clive: the wheels are great and even the rubber is quite old it´s very sticky!
But as Simon said before spinning from 1-4th!
I think the rollers show very true numbers, as the other cars were all in expected region for their mods.
My mechanic drove my car yesterday, me beeing co-pilot, and it was really fast in 3rd and 4th on full throttle. Now I can imaging how you felt on the launch and 1-4th pull with me, Simon!
Hope you come back, even after this!

Thanks Harvey, my intentions were more than exceeded!
It was really the right way to take the expense of the billet over the standard GT35 it seems!
Simon said that the engine is really well built only the valves are some kind of loud ticking, but that is okay my mechanic said and the clearande is fine on them.

Hi,
I hear on the grape vine that Clive (madhammer) has beaten Mikee's drag strip time.
Apparently its a 9.87 @ 141MPH.
Well done Clive and I bet you weigh twice what Mikee does.
No offence.
Another good time for a Billet wheeled turbo.
cheers
Kev

Thanks Kev, was a very good day. Did a 9.95 on Michelin wets to back it up too
Mikee was on the list for the first text message
I now have the fastest billet then ?
Think I am just under double Mikees weight
Car with me in is 1190kgClive
Hi Clive,
well done, I will get Mikee on the scales this Saturday, bet he is only 8 stone wet through.

Yes the fastest Billet out there I believe with more to come.
Cheers

I'm a little confused by this response. I thought the SC46 and the Blouch 2.5 XT-R TS were the same. I don't want to base my purchase of the blouch (I'm in the US) based on results over here if they are different.
Also, have any of you done P&P work on the SC46? Would you recommend against it or for it? I'm looking at picking up the SC46 from Blouch and getting it P&P'ed with a thermal coating as well. Gotta keep those temps away from my TMIC

Hi John,
as stated the SC versions are different, we had a customer here with the blouch Dom 2.5XTR on his car, did good power but suffered with spool.

I guess Blouch will sell you one of ours if I give them the nod, let me know by e mail, info@scoobyclinic.com
cheers

I remember asking a similar question a while back, think it would be a touch laggy on a 2.1, atleast that was the given response.
What sort of power you aiming for?
What sort of power you aiming for?
I'm *probably* going to go rotated, either a 30 or 35, but, if a SC54 can produce say 550BHP, I don't know whether it's worth the expense of going rotated? I know you can run less boost going rotated, but does the cost of the rotated pipes, wastegate, air intake etc warrent this?
Quite big to be honest, as I've got a built 2.1, with head work, Syvecs etc.

my personal car runs an SC54 Billet, its 2.33 with DH 22 profile cams, managed by a Syvecs ecu, on V power we got 528 BHP with a 20% meth mix it was 576 BHP, spool is stunning.
We have not done a 2.1 with the SC54 but we are about to map an SC46 Billet on a 2.1 this week so will have some figures soon.

keep you posted.

Kev, not wanting to be negative as I'm not....but, isn't 528BHP a *low* figure for the SC54 on what I presume is a fantastic set-up/engine you have?
I know that is still a very high figure, but is it not on the low side still?

SC54 is a 540BHP turbo, so it was not far off on V power, we didnt want to push it to hard as it was a fresh engine only having covered 300 miles running in, there certainly was more to come on both road fuel and a meth mix but we called it a day as it ticked all the box's and is stupidly quick for a road car, cant get traction.

This was the first SC54 Billet produced since then the comp wheel and housings have been tweaked so maybe time for a back to back test .

For a direct fit turbo it has surpassed many non billet rotated set ups with all the extra pipe work and external wastegate expense.

Hi,
the SC54 Billet uses a 76mm intake pipe, we stock both the Perrin one and our own custom version which is made to suit maf-less set ups, the air filter itself is in my inner wing and is just an every day K&N cone.
Hope the above helps
cheers

Hi,
funny you should ask.
Today we have just received the new bigger billet we were going to name GT37, its changed name to a TO4Z billet.
It uses a compressor wheel the same size as the TO4Z wheel at 84 / 67mm, the new billet version flows around 77lb/min.
It is available with a T3 single scroll exhaust housing or a T4 twin-scroll version.
At an introductory price of £1395.00 + vat its ideal for people chasing 750 + BHP.
cheers

Sounds interesting
So is the unit using the 74/65 turbine wheel and based on a genuine Garrett T04Z with a billet wheel? Or is it a based on a Garrett Gt35 with T04Z wheel? Can a existing T04Z be upgraded to billet?
