As Kev, knows I have been discussing a 2.1 rebuild and am going for a GT30 rotated setup. Reading this has thrown another question regarding Meth. Maths is simple 12 litres of Meth per 60 ltr capacity tank. As I am not too well up on meth, is this cost effective with having to buy the meth then store it.
Hi,
with the correct supporting mods they are doing exactly what it says on the tin, SC38 Billet, 380BHP, SC40 Billet, 400 BHP.
As they have the Billet compressor wheel they actually produce a little more in most cases.
I do find it difficult to answer your queries though, its that avatar you have, puts me off.

cheers
Kev

PMSL @ kev, Ron Jeremy is a **** legend and is prob one of the ugliest little fat men with a huge log to have boned so many stunning women,RON RULES lol.
Cheers Kev, which would you recommend for std v5 type r. My mods so far are tubular headers, fmic, 740cc injectors, 3 inch decat exhaust, rcm induction kit and a simtek. Looking for similar spool to my vf28 or as close if poss and as much power as poss.

gearbox is the weak link for more than 360 BHP, in my opinion, and I stress in my opinion, therefore the SC36 Billet now showing to produce 370 + BHP would be my choice.
Sorry but that avatar still puts me off, I know who it is and what he does but don't like looking at a nude, balding bloke.

Cheers

Another win for SC billet turbos at the MLR 30-130 weekend at RAF Marham with our winning time of 6.3 seconds, not bad for low boost on a wet track!

30-190 in 14.8 seconds. The faster but lower mph trace was in the dry (not at Marham)

30-120 in 5 sec dead, that must be an interesting 5 seconds

With the right track conditions it will be awesome and you said there was more to come from the turbos, can't begin to imagine what it would be like to drive something like that, Mental, lol.

Those runs were at 1.3-1.4 bar boost, it was mapped to 2.0 bar but I have not had the pleasure of that on the road/track yet! Didn't think it was appropriate for the rain!
The SC billet 30's should be capable of running to 2.5 bar on this install as they are only running a 1750cc engine each.

Andy F Blue/Purple, Clive Orange, Banana Yellow, JGM Green, nice !
It's a massive shame that you never got to run your car at it's true potential Andy, I reckon a sub 5 second 30-130 could be possible in the right conditions
Interesting to note that Clive was actually quicker than the Banana during the run only missing out on the gear changes !
Better traction ?

We all had issues with traction and the depth of puddle varied throughout the day! Steven had big issues with wheelspin on that particular run and Clive (from the G force trace) somehow managed to find a bit traction for the drag slicks but was still spinning em up. Would have been really interesting to see everyones runs in the dry at full boost!
I was on full boost Andy
I am sure my dry time could be in the high 5's if I held on to forth rather than short shift as can be seen in the trace.
Martyn, worth remembering I am some 100 kg lighter than the banana Inc driver weight so our power to weight ratio will be similar. Only thing is Nana has NOS on top when required

Brilliant sonic - you've been waiting a while to get all that mapped. But it was worth it, now that Simon has woven his magic eh?
A "JGM 380+" lol is great in a Classic innit?
