Yes mate im certain,i considered all avenues before going down the route i have taken with the turbo choice on a 2.0ltr car and the GT30 would be too laggy,Im sure Kev will confirm when he see`s the post.

is yours a built engine? 2.1? of so what boost you running mate?
I'm with Jura on this a .63 'zorst housing on a 2.0 should be fine but running a GR30R on a standard (albeit strong), bottom end is a waste of time as it will eat it up and spit it out. Think you have made the right choice given the limitation of your set up
Ronjeremy I'm getting mapped thurs on a sc40 on my type r v3 standard box and internals. Fmic, 3 inch exhaust, big injectors , gr specs matched Harvey up pipe, all ur normal mods I can't wait . Il let u no how I got on and graphs ect Rob

If you're going to swap Omar, go for a Billet 30 on a .63 for road work.
If you wanted to be really clever about it, get a V banded rotated setup and one of each turbo with V band exhaust housings.
Then you could swap to the 35 for drag racing and back to the 30 for road effortlessly and just run CALs for each in your Syvecs

If your going forged/rotated route that is.
From all the results ive seen and all the graphs ive studied of this combination i totally agree with you pete,i think anything bigger like a GT35 is better suited to a 2.33/2.35/2.5 etc, certainly on a road car anyway.

Reason: spooling misteek
No mate its a JDM v9 sti bottom end on sti version 5/6 heads running 1.7bar on vpower and 1.85bar on 20% meth/vpower.
I'm running similar spec to u m8 but fully forged bottom end but with version 4 stu heads and looking for a 500 break classic so ur sc 42 is it? Good spool I was going to get sc46 but surprise the 42would be less laggy
