I know what you mean the lag is shocking sometimes why it mixes us with americans I just dont know - it also winds me up when it picks me as the host I hate that derail snow level I cant see anything I just get shot to **** lol im still trying to get used to the damn controller instead of a mouse

How do you know its picked you as host?

Derail I dont mind other than too many snipers. Thats the map I got my highest killstreak so far.

At the moment Im trying to do all the killstreak challenges. Way off completing the 1000 UAV-counter UAV one tho lol.

Been using the Tar recently and damn that weapon is effective at close to medium range.

The campers are starting to p1ss me off now, playing invasion last night every player was camping up in the roof tops rooted to the spot. The winner ended up with a colossal 8 kills

it puts you at the top of the list, when it does this just quit and as its quitting you will see it say picking new host faintly in the background - you will of noticed when a host quits mid game as it all stops and picks the next best connection - so if youve a good connection expect to be a host a few times

shouldn't laugh but I now what you mean. I spent ages searching for people on this one map the other night. It was like a ghost town and I couldn't find a soul so I checked the players list to make sure that there where people still playing and then bang! Fu**er camping in the corner of a room blows me away with a single shotgun blast.

The only thing that really bothers me though really on this game (apart from those pesky heart beat sensors) is the constant fact that the games seem never to be full, always suddenly losing most players on a team and occasionally realizing that your the only person left on your team against a full team of others (usually leading to a very high death count, losing the game, turning the game off & violent outbursts)

I'm about rank 34 and to be honest i am a bit bored with it, well not so much bored, more like its just COD4 with a few tweaks and i feel like i have already played it to death.

I have started playing it in smaller chunks, anything more then a few hours and i get sick of it, needs some new maps already IMO!

The game balancing is probably the most annoying thing after the lag - usually its people rage quitting after they get owned in the first couple of mins. If I end up on my own or just two of us I use my stealth class with cold blooded and ninja and see how many I can take out. If too bad then I quit as not fussed about win:loss ratio after I played up to Lvl30 stupidly playing free for all. Just a shame that the option to change teams is greyed out.

One other annoyance is clearance of items. Sometimes I seem to get stuck walking under the iron stairs outside (to the helipad) and you just cant move as enemy comes around corner. Well frustrating.

I quite like the maps. Good mix of large, medium & small. I can think of 10 maps off the top of my head and Ive probably missed a few so not sure how your getting bored of them already. There are so many ways to get around the maps that you can always avoid choke points and ambush from behind. I used to hate quarry but quite enjoy it now.

I guess if you liked MW1 then youll like MW2. I love the way theyve done the killstreaks in that a) there are some many and b) there are multiple allowed even in the air. Before it was just get a airstrike and chopper and stand there pressing the call in key rapidly fighting to get it out before end of the game.

I hope to make it to Lvl70 in the next few days and once thats done & dusted then Im going hunting for the holy grail - the tactical nuke . If you got to keep your killstreaks and challenge completions then Id probably go for prestige but as you dont I cant be arsed.

Im loving commando pro perk - you literally spot some and bam youve knifed them before they can blink.

I only ever got to around rank 52/53 on COD 4, because i started getting bored of the same old thing on that.

I had an intresting game on "rust" yesterday, that map is tooooo small!!
Ran around a corner to find a care package, so i said on the mic "whose is this care package???" nobody answered so i took it

Pave Low = sweet, as soon as i started racking up the free kills some wingy southerner was " hey that was mine! i was going to respawn and get it "

Snooze you looze, at least i asked whose it was before the enemy took it, its not like nobody was going to run past that spot for the next few mins, the map is fooken tiny.

Rust I hardly ever seem to get on TDM. There was a similar map on MW1 that was just a spawnkill fest. Its pretty intense and you really need sleight of hand to stop yourself getting caught with your pants down mid reload.

At least you asked about the crate. More than most would do (including me lol). Its funny how you kill yourself to get back to crate to find its a uav (sometimes the logo doesnt show on the map). But satisfying when you find a pave low or chopper gunner unless the enemy take it out really quick and you get zilcho kills.

Part of the fun for me is doing the challenges. Ive only managed to totally complete (mastery) 4 of the assault rifles so far as need 1000 kills. Even then I have still got to do the headshot challenges which are very hard.

One of the finishing move challenges is get the final kill on deathcam by dropping a crate on your enemy. The chances of getting that are pretty remote.

I only just started playing through the SP.

It doesn't really seem that much different from COD4.

Ive still only played 3-4 lvls on SP and that was only because online was down on PSN. Much prefer to beat real people than play against the computer

Pave Low + Rust = total mayhem, nowhere to hide, mass confusion
Some numpty on my team was waffling on to his mate, about how awesome he is if he can get up to the top level, he will easy get 30 kills!!
Just as long as he can get up to the top, he even said he was not arsed about capturing the objectives, and getting to the top for his "easy" 30 kills was number one priority.

Sorry fella but my stolen Pave Low says otherwise

Had a good game of Hardcore Headquarters yesterday as well.
The lowest scoring person on our side (might have been the entire game as well) had 33 kills

I always feel guilty playing the team events because it's normally me that ends up bottom!

Did anyone else have problems on Saturday morning on Live? It took ages to find a game, it kept resetting the search.

It kept me up late last night catching up with you. I do prefer playing on-line but I completed the single player on regular when I first got the game and have since done a few levels on Veteran and some of the Spec Ops.
If you get a chance try Spec Ops two player with someone on the AC130 gunner mission. I did it with a friend of mine a few nights ago and it was a lot of fun (especially for me in the AC130).

I don't worry about coming bottom as long as I have a positive k/d ratio, no point having 35 kills and coming top if you have racked up 45 deaths

GM - Im saving Spec Ops for when my brother next comes down.

I see your generally up to the wee hours playing - unfortunately Im in bed before midnight as generally up for work at 6am.

I was playing Rust TDM with g7prs last night and pissed myself as I came up against 4 enemy trying to shoot a chopper down - all looking into the sky and I just walked up and commando knifed all of em.

g7prs - are you Scottish? I just saw you die first on one map last night and then heard this scottish accent say something like "ffs no fuuuuurking way" - had me in stitches.

I had to laugh earlier on wastelands when I ran around the corner and you hit me with the sniper. I just double tapped with my sniper and pulled off the most flukey kill ever.

Although me and another guy did have the best game ever last night.....It started 6 on 6 but when the game started there was only me and this other guy against 5 people. But we still won! (4700 v's 4500)Bloody funny I thought.
