How is someone with Multiple Sclerosis supposed to ban someone??
LOL eitherway I've heard that....all the people who do illegally get it (if they don't ban them somehow) will have all there stats re-set to zero again when the games officially released. Only benefit they get is from seeing the maps and weapons first so there is a slight tactical advantage. I'm waiting for mine, wouldn't know how to get it illegally on the PS3 anyway

if you go online early then your asking to be banned, i know all about the recent banhammer recently through afterdawns. My xbo wont be getting plugged into the router again till release date (this isnt my first game ive got early) I had forza 3 early and there was a ban wave going then.

so all in all if you play before release day your deserve to be banned.

I wont be going online till abgx is updated and can confirm that the ixtreme 1.61 is fully secure for WAVE 4 games.


Some people have confirmed they've received there console bundle early due to the postage strike so if you wanted to risk it you could get on now

I know I've seen videos of some US kid's that have already reached prestige level 1 on MW2. They were showing off on some videos that where on Youtube. I'm sure they'll get banned as there videos have now been removed from Youtube for some reason .
I can't wait for that game now.

Good to see MS atleast banning some of these people really Norman Dog. Why should they get it early? plus they don't know what type of criminal gangs they could be supporting buying modified Xbox's and illegal copied games. I mean most everyone else is waiting till Tuesday for it's release why can't these people

It's only flashed xbox's being banned, you won't get banned for playing the game early, although you will get your stats reset no doubt.

I've got a PS3 and TBH I haven't seen any PS3 users with MW2 yet only xbox owners and PC gamers (better class on the PS3 you see). I cannot wait to get playing on this. The graphics look stunning and I'm hoping the weapons power levels will be a bit more realistic in this game compared with World at War.

I hope stats are wiped PS3 as well but when would they do it. Quite often you get games via mailorder on the day before release. Really annoying when you get a game on release day to jump online and see people ranked up to lvl 30 or something already. I should play the SP but will probably jump straight online as cant resist

Quite a lot of people got banned for playing Forza 3 early if i remember right!

The word on the street is that playing early gets your account flagged, which then is passed onto the enforcement team, who investigate further, any dodgy shenanigans and you get banned, all looks well they let you off.

I think it is a bit pathetic to be honest, if the game is going to be as good as its reported to be, the poor chaps who slogged away making the game, deserve to be paid for the work they put in.
