you walk around to where he is, i hid behind a barrel, for the first few mins i hid right out the back lmfao, but i assume you need to get closer to him as when i moved nearby him, he told me to go to plan B, i then had the detonator pop up in my hand and i blew them to hell 
Loved the snowmobile bit I really like the game, haven't tried the multiplayer yet though.....anyone got any thoughts on it ? What about the co-op ?

Class game online although it seems like your on the same 4-5 maps all the time, anyone else noticed this?
Was over 900,000 people online earlier on so not to hard to find a match

rumour has it the server's are going to be down till friday..
till they sort out all the problems with joining multiplayer parties,
and rumour also say's that all the people who got hold of a copy and were playing online before release date will have all there promotions returned to zero thats what i've been hearing through friends online.....

Tbh Im not overly impressed. The gfx are nowhere near as good as Uncharted 2 and I dont think its much of a jump from MW. Did they have to detune it so it can play on the Xbox as well
Im sure if they were going to reset online ranks theyd have done it by now. And where do you draw the line? Anyone who played before midnight on Monday?
Can anyone else confirm on PS3 that when going online and getting the waiting for match making servers bit that your rank is back to 1? Im assuming its just because you canT synch with the servers. If not Im gonna be pissed.

There is a button on the information desk that says "don't push"
If you push it the statues come to life and along with a dog, try to kill you.
I think its their version of the zombie levels from WAW.
Gets boreing after a while as once you kill them all nothing happens, it just resets itself

At least the 360 servers work properly. I own both 360 and PS3 and chose the 360 version because the PS3 isn't reliable on line yet as proven by the fiasco after only a couple of days. It can't touch Live and wont for a long time if ever.

I dont think they detuned it myself.
Probably the other way around when you look at games like Ghostbusters/Dragon Rising/etc etc etc
Games developed only for the PS3 = look great

Cant say Ive ever used XBL but only online game Ive had issue with on the PS3 is Uncharted 2 and now MW2 but both are issues with the software developers - in the case of MW2 the Activision Servers - and when I say servers all they seem to do is collate player lists to allow you to quickly search for a game. Assume same for Xbox.
Genuine question but what do you actually get for your XBL money if the games arent running on dedicated servers? I know its peanuts for a years sub anyway but was just curious.

I'm on PC and the levels take a while to get used to, though to show what a bunch of Pikeys Infinity Ward are they've just reused Brecourt from CoD3 as Scrapyard 
And the lack of dedicated servers is just stupid, half the time maps stop in the middle while it tries to find a new host, sometimes doesn't and just bombs out. Lag is terrible and last night was a joke
It was nice to get to know the people who played on the servers, but now its mainly pot luck who you play with
And did I mention - NO LEAN, what the ****
Its gone backwards from WaW - Oh well.
And the lack of dedicated servers is just stupid, half the time maps stop in the middle while it tries to find a new host, sometimes doesn't and just bombs out. Lag is terrible and last night was a joke

Oh, not forgetting that IW think we want to play with Console amounts of users on large maps 8 per team and in some gametypes max 12.. Gone are the 20+ per team days of old.

On a more positive note, me and a mate have started doing the spec ops stuff in co-op, and one of the missions has 2 of you as snipers running around Chernobyl
It was like a blast from the past, and as soon as i came around the corner and saw the white church i was like "woaaaaghh there will be somebody up top in the tower"

Ps3 online has been spot on since release for me apart from the server issues last night all servers were down for a while
Im just finding it hard getting used to a controller rather then a mouse - and the no lean is pants I still think PC version is better in every way (well cod 4 version is not sure about the new one as I chose the PS3 version)

Have to say I ended up buying the game for the PC even though I said I wouldent, Had serious f,ing problems trying to install it loaded the first disc no problem loaded the second disc into machine and nothing! tried pissing about for an hour doing different thing's to get it to read the disc and still nothing, ended up with a two hour download Via Steam for the second disc,
Single player is f,ing intense to say the least probably the best single player game ive ever played although it is a bit short it's still worth it, 10/10 from me on that one
Multiplayer is totally crap IMO, Game play is no up too much It's like playing a cartoon TBH
I bought it for CTF mode only to find out it need's to be unlocked at level 16, WTF is all that about?

I was checking the XFIRE logged stats yesterday and just as many people were playing COD4 as MW2 on the pc.
Looks like the PC fans actually did do a pretty good job of standing ground!

I'm getting into the multiplayer a bit more now, but being used to halo etc it's a bit a frantic in comparison.

I keep trying in the hope it will work out, but the matchmaking doesn't work, if you have 8/8 teams and 3-4 people drop out your team it DOESN'T AUTOBALANCE WTF!!
LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG is still getting on my nerves and if you drop out to find a better game you lose your stats and bonus points.
They have taken a massive step back with PC MP
And as you say, you have to get to level 16 to open CTF er? hello? what on earth? Then when you do open it its like 6-8 a side, rubbish my fav CTF matches were with servers of 30-40 players Oh well, I'm off back to MW1 MP and WaW MP.

I feel for the PC chaps, i really do, i was convinced PC gaming was about to go comatose, but it appears that it is starting to build back up again, the games review site i use even went as far as claiming that PC gaming was coming back, and they started doing some PC coverage, some good titles have been released recently, but they all seam "consolish" in the execution, and the oldskool PC chaps are not happy about it.
Me personally, i was never a huge PC gamer, until recently when i built my quad machine and i started getting back into it a bit, mine is mainly used when the missus is watching dross in the living room and i need to escape from her
Nowadays i will think about buying a game PC vs X360 and look at the merits of both versions, but with MW2 it really looks like the PC gamers have been shafted with a sketchy console port, exactly the same as Dragon Rising, DR (pc version) still asks you to press start at the title screen LOL!
I suspect for the PC gaming thing to rise from the ashes, it is going to have to adapt to survive, and that might mean that the big multiplatform AAA titles will end up as general 360 ports, not such a bad thing, but not what the hardcore pc gamers would like.
I bought MW2 on the 360 and it seams to work pretty slick, bar some of the textures looking a bit crap IMO, it does run nice and smooth though

It's just that whilst I was waiting for my copy there was a Mica red classic Impreza (version 3+), a blue fully rally stickered classic (version 3+) and a silver classic with the number 77 (I believe
) on the doors and ofcourse my own classic. Someone in the queue in front of me even commented on all the Subaru's that where there. Glad I got my game then come some people are ranking up on-line very fast.
