So much for my "free upgrade to courier delivery" from GamePlay.com. They sent it out last Thursday!!!
I didn't think the NVG's were available in the UK?

Thanks very much It's not his birthday for a few days yet, but he came home from school complaining that his mates would be playing it tonight. He thinks he's getting something completely different anyway so hopefully he'll be chuffed. I wanted to open them and play armies but I'd feel terrible if I did (and extremely childish).

I wonder how much trouble the NVG's will cause? I can just imagine people driving round in their cars with no lights on.

I once bought a remote control plane for my brothers youngun at christmas, i simply opened the box to make sure all the parts were inside before i wrapped it up, next thing you know its all built up, and i am standing in a carpark overlooking the Tyne river.

It takes off, a random gust blows it off course and its flying over the river Tyne, me panicking slightly as i have never flown one of these things before and should have really read the instructions properly, managed to fight my fear and get the thing roughly pointing towards dry land, where it promptly smashed head on into the car park floor

Bought the kid something else instead

My copy came on Friday (some ppl were already level 48), the servers have been hit and miss wether you can get an online game or not! Today they are screwed, spent half an hour tryin to get into TDM this evenin n gave it up as a bad job!

Some good new perks and things on there, customisable kill streaks are good!

I'm hoping the servers are ok tomorrow!

That is hilarious!! I could picture all of that as I was reading it.

A mate of mine had a stunt kite once and he was flying it on a busy beach. It was going everywhere and looked really good. This woman came up to him with a cheap kids kite which was a bit tangled and she asked him to help her sort it out. Without thinking he gave me the controls of this aerobatic kite so he could help her, not realising I had no idea how to control it. Within seconds it came down at about 30mph and hit a bloke on the beach. Luckily he was OK, and even more luckily he didn't beat me up.

My local asda had 350 copies of both formats in stock at 12oclock

At 6am i wandered in, loads on the shelves, get to the counter with my dummy box and the woman tells me they have no 360 copies left, and they only have 50 ps3 copies

Apparently they were quite busy last night at 12

I will pop along to Sainsburys just before 8am, i don't really expect to see ques or anything, hopefully most people will be commuting to work then ?

I'm on baby minding duty this morning (his mum only got 1.5 hours sleep). Fantastic I thought, pop him in the moses basket and have a sneaky play...... ohhh no, baby will only fall asleep in my arms so I've only got one hand free!!
I think he and his mum have conspired against me

Got to Sainsburys for 7.30am i was 5th in the que

They ended up opening the doors early as the que started mounting up REAL quick, the lads in front of me had all ready been around a few 24 hour stores.

The manager for Sainsburys came out and had to explain that they would only be letting 5 customers into the store at once until the que went down

Anyways, 26quid lighter and i have my copy, will be going home as soon as the youngun arrives at 10.30am

Was chatting with the other geeks in the que, well to be honest, only one was a right old geekoid, the rest seamed sound enough, and they were saying that Asdas ques started at 11pm last night

A few of them had been trawling around various shops looking for a copy without fail, it was quite a good laugh to be honest, apart from when i got stuck talking to the geekoid and the cool nightshift worker turned his back away

Ive just gone straight for the multiplayer. Pretty cool but very fast paced. A bit too easy to kill and lots of delayed kills around corners.

I suspect the easy kills in multiplayer will only last until people suss out the maps

I suspect everybody will just be running around looking at the scenery until they work it all out

Woes the PC multiplayer has gone all Forza 3 game lobbyish!

I agree with Mickey, the few games I've just had online and I've had a positive ratio which never usually happens!
Looks good though, can't wait for a proper go at it.

I went to sainsburys this morning and they had sold out, but Asda had quite a few although they are slightly more expensive at £32. Thats in Lincoln. I never thought about Morrisons. I preordered the game for my son, but I thought for £30ish I'd get one for myself and let him kill me to death on it!

yep i was one of them ,when i got to my local there were already 50 people there (some were pre orders though) and by midnight i reckon there were at least 200 in the queue.

I personally think it is worth it i've only started the missions and the attention to detail is fantastic on the scenery and characters.

I got to Sainsburys at 8.30 this morning and there were just three people left queing. There was only a handful of games left behind the counter.

Got Sainsburys discount too so only paid £22.10. Absolute bargain.

I was sooo bored with Forza3 straight away so this game will fill a major gap

Cool

For anyone near Chester who wants a copy, Morrisons still have 12 copies of PS3 version left. I didn't look in the Xbox section. Sainsburys are sold out. That was at 12.50
