hi guys.
just a heads up. i use the route every day to get to and from work and the last 2 nights after 9pm they have been closing the flyover on the queensway, just as you come off the aston express way for road works (looks like they are doing re-surfacing and maintainence work on the road). might be an idea to check if they are not closing the underpasses as well for next weekend. there are no signs up but would hate for you guys to organise the meet and the tunnels are closed.

hey bud, when we were planning the route we were aware that the flyover was closed but were hoping that it would be ready in time. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm leave it with us we will assess the situation and worse case have to amend the route slightly (i.e leave the flyover out and simply go round the island instead)

just an update. coming home tonight about 9pm they have closed the flyover and were starting to cone off the first tunnel leading under the queensway, just off the flyover.traffic was being diverted away from the queensway and the traffic was a nightmare. took me 15 minutes to get back on the main route. i really hope it is just a one off.
