Meet @ McDonalds (109 Coventry Rd, Birmingham, B10 0RJ) at 21:00hrs.
Please have your £5 per car ready.

(Do NOT leave McDonalds at the exit near to the Ibis Hotel)
Exit the other end of the car park – Turn left onto Mount Pleasant then turn left onto the Coventry Rd.

@ island, straight over (2nd exit) signed M5, A4540 Bordsley Middleway.

@ island straight over (2nd exit) signed M5, Camphill Middleway.
STAY IN RIGHT HAND LANE

@ island 3rd exit, signed M5 Belgrave Middleway
**GATSO 40mph**

STAY LEFT, stay in lane 2, @:island straight on (2nd exit), continue straight so that McDonalds is on your left and we are heading towards Broad St.
**GATSO 40mph**

@ Five Ways island, 4th exit onto Broad St (stay in outer right lane on Broad St)
(try and stay together) You will see the Birmingham wheel towards the end of the street.

@ end of Broad St, STAY IN LANE 2, join the island, bear RIGHT, and go around the island one full turn staying in lane 2.
After doing full circle, take the first exit signed M6,

Get into LANE 2, A38, enter QUEENSWAY TUNNEL to the RIGHT. Signed M6/M5.

On leaving Tunnel STAY IN LEFT LANES and approach island.
@ island take 2nd exit as per diversions, continue straight, stay in left lanes.

@ island (MATALAN, postcode, B6 4BA) 1st exit, then left, entering MATALAN CARPARK to regroup.

On regrouping, continue straight, New John St, veer left, turn right onto Pritchett St, then turn left onto Newtown Row.

Continue straight negotiating traffic lights, bear right into LANCASTER CIRCUS TUNNELL.

After Tunnel stay in left lanes

Continue straight along Park St towards Selfridges and St Martins Church.
Follow the road, Chapel St, stay in lane 2.

Move into Lane 3 (signed New St station) bear RIGHT

Stay in RIGHT hand lane, and continue straight so that SELFRIDGES (big blue lit building) is on your left.
Stay in outer lanes to the RIGHT, (Moor St) **Speed Bumps and 20mph zone**

Take left turn (A38), stay in RIGHT hand lane.
Enter LANCASTER CIRCUS TUNNEL, A34
**Caution of cars from the left**

On leaving Tunnel continue straight A34, after lights **GATSO 30mph**
Pass ALDI on the left.

Stay in LANE 2 + 3 and stay to the RIGHT, signed M6 North

Stay RIGHT onto the Birchfield Rd FLYOVER, continue straight.

Stay in LEFT LANE, signed City University.

On slip Road STAY RIGHT, turn RIGHT and follow A34 City Centre (On the right)

Stay in RIGHT hand lanes A34 City Centre, onto FLYOVER.

Stay to the RIGHT, A34 City Centre. Enter BRIDGE/TUNNEL.

Continue STRAIGHT – Newtown Row
**GATSO 30mph**

Turn LEFT onto NEWTOWN MIDDLEWAY, signed A38 / Bham Airport / N.E.C
(towards MATALAN postcode B6 4BA)

@ Matalan island stay in Lane 2, take 3rd Exit, signed A38
Stay LEFT towards Bull Ring

@ island 2nd exit (Childrens Hospital), bear right into ST CHADS CIRCUS QUEENSWAY TUNNEL, stay right towards Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Enter QUEENSWAY TUNNEL, stay right, continue straight, enter TUNNEL.

Continue straight along Bristol St
***PULL IN @ TOTAL PETROL STATION to regroup just before FORD DEALERSHIP***
postcode B5 7AZ

After regroup

Stay in Lane 1, turn LEFT @ traffic lights.

@ island STRAIGHT over
**GATSO 40mph**
Stay in left lane

@ island 1st exit (Thinktank millenium point)

@ island STRAIGHT ON, (2nd exit) signed A38

Stay in lane 2
3rd exit towards Heartlands Hospital/Small Heath

Enter McDonalds, turning RIGHT onto Mount Pleasant
**PARK UP TOGETHER**
(postcode: B10 0RJ)

Break/Food/Photos for 20-30mins then do same route again.

how long is the tunnel ? ill ask the mersey tunnel run crew if they are interested if so 30+ of us might come down.

hey bud, the tunnels are small to medium, either way its gonna be a laugh, its for charity (£5 a car) and you/we will get to meet/see some other enthusiasts/subarus.

I think the whole point of the event is a fundraiser for charity:thumb:

i get that ....... just my opinion has always been that charity should be a given amount of your choice .

not moaning just my opinion

bud if you dont want to attend and put in a fiver then dont, no hard feelings

lets be honest, whats a fiver?
a car magazine....two pints..... 5 magic tree air freshners ...............

West Mids Impreza's is a charity based club and not one penny raised goes towards the running/promoting/etc of the club, 100% goes to charity.

£5 to be part of a familly, see some nice cars and raise some £ for people less fortunate than us is a bargain imho.

If we could get back onto the subject of BhamTR2009 rather than voicing opinions on this thread it would be appreciatted. BTTT
