Contacted bob ,mines booked in for the 22nd May,should be really interesting as the 1st car made 317 bhp,i have the ecu from that car and identical mods on my new motor and it has covered 45k less so cant wait.

I am liasing with bob , he is fully booked til june , so will have to look at getting the map later .

He has given some advise too , so am defo looking around mid june for a remap .

Well I've taken the plunge and contacted Bob, just got to wait and see what he suggests.

 

Nice one Rich, I know you will not be disappointed.

 

This GB runs out at the end of the month but you only need to have made a booking to still qualify for this fantastic deal.

 

All booked for next month, just got to get all the bits fitted now.

 

Got all my bits on the car fitted 2 weeks ago,only difference is on the 1st map had an afterburner vortex fitted,on the map next week will have a ninja 2 system.Also uprated the brakes all round,so should be more stable under heavy braking - cant wait.

 

Just bought a load of bits so can't afford a remap yet

Can I get my car done - or is this group buy over?

 

No it is still running until the end of the month, you just need to contact Bob (contact details on 1st page) and make a booking in order to qualify for the GB price.

If you do make a booking could you please post up on this thread so I can add you to the list.

 

Hmm, when does payment happen? Once the booking is made or after the mapping is done?

 

Payment is made on the day of the mapping.

had my mapping session yesterday with bob !!

mods fitted where, vf34,fuel pressure reg,3 port, ported headers and ported uppipe wrapped,haywood and scott complete decat,walbro pump.

the car runs a dream and pulls like a train.

Hi fellas, Where is the mapping done and how long does it normally take, can you advise where Bob is based.

 

Bob is based in Swindon and would be carried out in the locality of Swindon, usually takes around 3-4 hours depending on modifications etc. but this includes setup time and Bob's pre mapping checks.

 

Is mapping done on dyno, road or both?
