Bob Rawle Mapping Group Buy

Whilst speaking to a few fellow members from the Wales section we all decided to go for mapping sessions with Bob Rawle :notworthy, having spoken to Bob he was willing to give us a group buy with fantastic pricing on Ecutek mapping. :)

Having spoken further to Bob he was willing to offer the same pricing to all members of Scoobynet and I have now posted up the information in this Group Buy thread. :luxhello:

I have copied the information over from the thread in the Wales section as below:

Bob has been in touch and he can do a new Ecutek remap for £400 + vat inc licence which means at present it would be £460.00 which is quite a saving on the normal price of around £600 including VAT. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...lies/smile.gif Plus of course any further mapping sessions would be cheaper as you pay for the Ecutek licence in the cost of the first mapping. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...milies/top.gif

If you already have an Ecutek map and licence on your car then obviously you would benefit from a lower charge for the mapping providing that you can obtain the licence/unlock code (if I remember correctly) from the previous mapper if not Bob. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...es/ponder2.gif

There are 3 presently booked in for mapping myself, Rally Fan 555 and tomski2 - the mapping will be done in the Swindon area which is only around 1 hour (or less on the way back http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...ilies/wink.gif) from Cardiff on the M4. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...ilies/cool.gif

I would imagine he could travel to you but again please contact him to discuss travelling costs etc. or if enough are interested in the same area then please contact him to discuss. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr.../notworthy.gif

Please contact Bob if you are interested and arrange dates with him directly, it looks like he has free slots on the 4th,5th,11th and 12th of December at present. You could arrange dates after this but remember that the VAT rate will go back up in 2010. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...milies/mad.gif He may well have dates before this but these are the dates he has given me for my mapping session. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr.../notworthy.gif

He can obviously map Simtek, Motec etc. but please contact him directly for further information and costings. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...es/biggrin.gif

Contact email link and his website link are below :

B. R. Developments

BRDevelopments

When you contact Bob give him your vehicle details, what modifications you have done/planned (or just state if the vehicle is standard with no modifications planned) and what level of performance you are aiming for, mention that you have been put onto him by Tyron with reference to a group deal. http://images.ibsrv.net/ibsrv/res/sr...lies/thumb.gif

Please remember that this is a chance to have your car mapped at a cracking price by one of the most respected mappers in the UK.

I have started a list below of people below with interested/confirmed bookings.

2. Rally Fan 555 confirmed

Hi Joe

TBH I am not that sure but I would think somewhere around the £200 mark if you have the licence already in place, I would contact Bob on the link above to confirm costs. :thumb:

Just waiting for a vf28 and Ecutek'd ECU to possibly come through and then I'll be interested.

Do we know how soon the mapping starts?

If you contact Bob and you can arrange dates directly, as long as you mention the Scoobynet group buy and my name. :)

I am sure within reason you could book into 2010 if needed. :thumb:

You should be able to get it from the person who first mapped your car or contact Bob for advice ( I am not 100% sure on this aspect ). :thumb:

He hasnt mentioned anything about getting the unlock code from the previous mapper so i assume its not needed :wonder:

spoke to bob on thursday nite about the group buy and as it stands im being remapped on the 12 december.

Nolan_WRX 07 November 2009 10:45 PM

Had the car mapped with bob today, very pleased with the results, pulls like a train now 330bhp with similar torque :)
Was strange mapping on the road, have been used to rolling roads. A camera van turned up half way through the mapping session, must have known i was there lol.
Bob is really tidy, nice to talk to and was happy to answer the questions i had, he knows his stuff and would recommend him to anyone :thumb:

Had mine done on Saturday, the car is much better to drive now. Bob said 280bhp and over 300 torque. Well pleased with it now, well worth the money.
Cheers, Andrew

No problem Andrew glad it all went well :), Bobs mapping skills really transform the Impreza. :notworthy

And at the GB price it is a real bargain and you should also see better MPG as well to boot. :thumb:
