I'm unsure on this, I recently bought my Scooby which is a classic '97 uk turbo, I was thinking i'd use V-Power as I did on my old car (non-Scooby), but the previous owner said it only runs on 95, and that's best for it so that's what i've been using? Can anyone clarify this...?

That makes it a V3 car so yes use V-Power. Unless it's been specifically remapped to use UK 95RON fuel which i doubt very much as currently you cannot remap a V3 or V4 scoob, and even though it's a UK car i'm pretty sure it will have a Japanese factory map on the ECU which means it will require 100RON fuel. 99 RON is the best we have so use that.

ok then, yes i've recently realised it says super gasoline unleaded only on the inside of the petrol lid and it hasn't been remapped. hopefully me using 95 for the last month won't have been a problem though?

It's not about how long you've been using 95RON as it's been a very short time but more about how long the previous owner had been using 95RON. If the engine is still smooth and quiet with no knocks or rattles then perhaps it's only been thrashed sympathetically.
