Dougie, i was getting crap 60ft that day too, 384bhp is good, most of the vf37 results i seen on stock top mount have been under 350bhp on vpower.

i should get a dyno result for mine on saturday.

have added some photos i took yesterday.

Certainly wasn't aimed at you.

Seems that the people with the strongest opinions about what a car should make, don't actually map cars or build engines etc.

Well done mikee ,it does however make me fooked off the fact that i could only manage an 11.5 @ 124 mph with 1.8 60 foot and i have 500 bhp in a 1400 kg sti

must pratice

thats good hardy in a heavy weight, not to be sniffed at

my best is a 11.42 @ 122 on three cylinders

I could never seem to get 3rd gear fast enough and the harder i tried the more i missed,might need a quick shift ?.

Can;t see any where open on sunday
Do you mean the following sunday
My best time is 11.42 @ 123mph on sunday with a 60 ft of 1.82
Car weighs in at 1390 kg
So very close to some of you guys

best I managed was a 1.61 60' 12.1s pass
This was with a genuine 390/400 on a stock sti5 transmission.
cannot remember the speed but it was at scoobyshootout a couple of years back.
I had fooked cusco coilovers so there was no bogging whatsoever!

^^how did you find launching at that power with that box...and was it a mechanically sympathetic launch or sidestep?

As you can see paul it wasnt a guess I was quoting fact about the vf37 figures and as for having a strong opinion on what cars can do up the strip , you dont have to be a mapper or an engine builder to see that some people are posting bu!!$hit times up that are just not possible with the power they claim to have.
