I never really had a problem with telling them to go away, doorbell rings open door No im not interested caller walks away...Mind a while back i did have this fit middle age girl at my door i thought don't see many callers like you.She was wanting me to subscribe to one of these catalogues etc..She must of been at the door for about 10 mins trying to get me to sign,i thought im gonna ask her to give me a *******..Then i thought no i just said look my gf already is a member....The only other one was at one of the services on the M1 coming back from Leeds,This nice looking Asian girl shirt unbuttoned comes up to me shoves her **** in my face, wanting me to give mobile number address etc,i said no don't give out details to anyone. She said you get loads of free discounts with Virgin mobile etc discounts on various things.I said no and went to get my Burger king,on the way back out i walked passed her and she called me a Fooking C*nt .I turned around and said no it's a flaming whopper and fries, and gave her the finger walked off and laughed....

I do understand your anger, and think you have every right to have said something to her due to her rude and unprofessional attitude. But if you are going to react to someone being rude, the best approach is probably not to be rude yourself is all.
You could have easily pulled her up for her comments, and even said she was the one who knocked on you, disturbing you and wasting your time. You could have said you were going to make a formal complaint about her (waste of time to actually do, as her company probably welcome the pushy attitude).
I'm sorry, my comments may not cut with you, that's fine, but I'm entitled to my opinion. You had a problem with how she treated you (rightly so), but her physical appearance has nothing to do with it. Insult her manner if it makes you feel bettter, as that's what's at fault.

We shall agree to disagree Lisa, but nobody else has disagreed with me so it shows the general feeling towards the subject.
