Such a far better scene over in the US than here, loving the look of the car now, everythings working together and the wheels look great.
Top job!

I don't give a shi7 if i can't nail it into bends so the handling issue doesn't bother me. Who says you can't have a performace car and not nail it everywhere.
Have a look at what setup's the drift boys are running. A lot of them run a stretched tyre
I'll say it again for those who haven't read it. I have another set of wheels in the garage that i can put on to get my kicks with.
RA DUNK Yeah i'm a bit worried about kerbing them. But that's what refurbs are for are they not? And i'm still gonna avoid the kerbs like i did with my stock wheels
And as for Biofinger. Am i wannabe yank. YES. I'm inspired by what they do. It's different and not like everyone else. I don't expect everyone to go against their purist views.

....Urm ....k.
So, if you say you don't care ....why bite? LMAO!
Most of us have, and are taking the trouble to look into the repercussions of carrying out such modifications and are aware of the downfalls of doing them, yet we take those onboard and still decide and or want to do them.
Put simply (as it seems haters seem to stuggle with this) to those of us that are informed of all the issues .....you just seem like a moanin 'ol f*rts.
Disclaimer: No real offense was meant by the above to any hater, so shurrup moanin lol

lol, you're right. But this is not about being original its about putting things on your car that are detrimental to its handling or performance. If you're making a point about exclusivity or individuality no other car looks like mine anywhere. The graphics were my own design inspired by the RCM truck. As for yours I've seen hundreds of silver newages with Black Wheels

my 2 penneth daz Id have your car tomorrow and at least its earnt the right to have a homage to the gobstopper.
Bockett personally if thats how you want the car to look for show purposes good luck to you. It looks good from a distance but not sure on the whole stretched tyre thing. Would look better imho with proper fitting tyres but just my opinion.
On a thread hijack Budgie the snett day another SIdC day or a just a normal TD?

Just fyi to those that like it we've got a whole lot of aggressive fit Rotas available in the UK now too, my favourite is the Force in 18x9 ET38, 5x100 and 5x114.3 in stock now, Grids and Fighters are also available in aggressive 17" and 18" sizes, and we've got lots of 5x100 aggressive fitments on the water at the moment (as well as easy straight fit wheels in stock and on the water too, we're opening up the UK's stock of Rotas to cover a lot more wheels for Scooby owners!!).
Also the whole stretch tyres/aggressive fit ruining driveability and handling thing is a bit of a myth. It's more down to the fact that people are fitting cheap/soft sidewalled tyres to make the stretch 'easier' and the combination of the two spoiling the handling. I personally have an E36 M3 with aggressive fit 17x9s and 215 sticky compound tyres and can tell you that it doesn't restrict the car in any way shape or form. Being from the world of drift we've got a wealth of experience of what will and won't work and the pros/cons!
Also, in general you find actual outright handling performance is improved, while straight line driveability (i.e. tramlining etc) suffers due to the lack of 'give' in the tyres compared to a standard fit, obviously it's not always the case but it's not as cut and dry as "it ruins it"! Tyre choice plays a big part, I'd take a 18x9.5 with a 225/40 Toyo T1R (for example) over a 18x9.5 with a 255/35 Falken 452 (again for example) any day!

my 2 penneth
not exactly noticed any haters
as for handling being compromised
isnt that what coilovers are for
adjust them to suit what you are doing
my scoob will be at snetterton on 10th october running round track
keeping up with most of the rest there on the mo's
and at modified live on the 11th
looking bling with the rota grids
btw, i do not alter any settings between the 2 days

I think judgement should be reserved till you see the car in the flesh. I wasnt too sure until I saw it last night at the Ace Cafe & the overall car looks stunning. The attention to detail; finish & overall look is excellent. I think by the number of people around it all evening says it all IMO.
