Anyone got any updates on how white their sidelights bulbs are? The ones I've got in at the moment are "xenon white SMDs" but they're still far too blue for my liking...

Has anyone had problems with the LED sidelights and misting on a classic Impreza. I really want to get a set but will unfortunatley have to give them a miss if the misting is a problem.

Ok thanks for that think I'll get some then. What uprated bulbs match they best. Not look for the tinted blue just white if possible.

Some SuperHIDs https://www.scoobynet.com/group-buys...ts-30-off.html

4300k = white
6000k = white with a hint of blue

BOB

will these fit the dial lights behind the speedo and RPM?

AZTEC PERFORMANCE ONLINE STORE - WHOLESALE PRICES DIRECT TO THE PUBLIC - LED Bulbs :: 501/194/T10 New Mini Light Tower 9 LEDs - Xenon White (PAIR)

If they do, do I need white or green for a 1998 Version 5 type R?

Is the £9.99 for one bulb or the pair? Just checking as don't want to put 2 in quantity and end up with 4 bulbs.

I'd love to get the HIDs but my budget at the moment just doen't strech to that after recently purchasing my Type R. Nice cheap mods at the moment I'm afraid.

Bob, how much do you charge for a pair of 6000k headlight bulbs? This maybe an easier option to get the lights matching.

If you can get a close up of the sidelights that'd be good. Think I'm going to get a set anyway and see how they go. His easy are the HID kits to fit? Does anything major need to be modified?

Hi Bob, i've already got your slimline HID's fitted with the 4300k bulbs fitted and a set of your sidlights too. What i'm after is a price for a pair of 6000k bulbs only (not a complete new kit), can you supply bulbs only? If not where can i get some 6000k bulbs from?

If it really bugs you source some lightly tinted yellow vinyl to cover the sidelights, to add a touch of warmth to your cold blue leds.

I don't really have time to worry about them matching myself.....

Hell they just failed me MOT on DEEP BLUE LED! But these look a MILD BLUE so I guess its ok. Its funny when the copper stopped me I thought it was the blue LED but it turned out he thought my scooby was stolen! In the end it was not the Bobby but the MOT! [quote=slipstream_uk;8944900]This old problem, I went through at least 5 different types of leds.
They all claimed to be bright white and every time they came out blue tinted.
Now if someone has cured this problem and has pictures, pretty please point me in the right direction. They need to be a good match to 4300k
