Interesting thread, nothing wrong with my simtek, the cars has had numerous electrical probs amongst other things, and the ecu has stayed strong and worked faultlessly throughout all these problems.
Someone who celarly does not know the Simtek in detail or it could be a stooge being used and fed duff information deliberately or is it just a show of ignorance?
Aren't there some pretty spineless people on this board with some twisted agenda.

What facts about the software? All you've said is that you don't like it because you think it's old. As the latest release is only a few months old, then what exactly do you not like about it? You say it works to a degree, so what doesn't work? You still have given no facts, only your opinion, which seems to be you don't like it as the software hasn't got a fancy GUI. There are no facts to back up your opinions and no one knows you or your background with software engineering, micro electronics, engine management or mapping. So your opinions will probably be disregarded by most.

I have a Simtek on my MY97 car. Has the knock correction software been added yet, if not, when will be available?
