PSI3 ECU DATA MONITOR HELP
#32
The VFD was meant to supercede the LCD version completely...........The LCD display completely disapears on mine in hot weather despite fiddling with the contrast.

yeah i have the same probs with the LCD - i was wondering could you maybe change the screen filter to that of a blue one, or better still wire in a VFD display.
but still first job is trying to get the latest software on to it. i dropped Ecutek an email as they took over it after PSI3 disappeared, so fingers crossed

its a subaru ECU spec c jdm
now been told it could be a firmware issue and no 1 has taken it up since simon quit the business
so yes no support or help from the original manufacturers
Other option is ther any techi bods who know the system to help reboot or check firmware or was it PSi3 only who sorted things out, this is the last thing to ask before i get my money back

It is an ECUtek model PSi3. So as someone suggested, get in contact with them.
Another option is to try it on a standard car. Maybe your car had an aftermarket ECU you didn't know about?
I've found that there is no too much knowledge on the ins and outs of the PSi3's, you'll find out if you look at some older posts. Most of them were handled by Simon@PSi3 privately.
