Totally love this thread,
I can't believe you have done all that in your garage and to such a high standard. Top marks mate. Can't wait to see it when its all finished, I would go for white wheels as I think it would work better with the light blue.

The finish is from the gun, though to be honest the camera makes it look nuch shinier than it actually is! Wet sanding will be done in a week or so when the paint has fully cured!

that looks like a fantastic bit of overhauling you,ve done there mate hats off to you for tackling it all yourself! just goes to show that with the right tools attention to detail and ***** of steel anyone can succeed in transforming there motor without the need for a bodyshop! cant wait to see it all back together!
Looks amazing! I've been following this from the start and you've done a great job. Makes me so jealous that I don't have the time, space, equiptment or skill to do something like that. Well done.
As for wheels I think white would make the paint work look too girly. Go for an aggressive anthracite. I usually use Peugeot Graphite Grey on wheels! I've seen a classic in a similar colout round my neck of the woods and he's got white wheels and white graphics and it just doesn't look right.
