Rannoch

I should of mentioned the MY01 STI. I have been enquiring about them. Delivery in April and approx 28k not the inflated Hendry price.

Yes I am still waiting for the M3, although the STI might change my mind. Best guess at the moment is a year before I see it. 800 only for the whole of the UK best case.

I have 24-30k burning a whole in my pocket, but you havent tempted me into the Saab yet

Now if there's a car for depreciation your Saab is the car. My current car is a 40k car with all the bits, but I'm still going back to the jap sheds. Infact the P1 is better than my German built car.

????????????????????????????????????????

EXACTLY my point Chins - you have NO class - simple.

You wouldnt buy the SAAB over a P1 at the same price because you haven't grown up yet - thats fine ..... you have still to learn true class.

I see you are in Sales??? Salesmen have a slight reputation for talking - shall we say? - cr4p? yes thats it!!

Any of guys added the forthcoming company tax changes into the equation?

Any car, costing 32k, with a hellish Co2 figure is gonna cost a fortune in tax. Especially when you bear in mind that you'll never own the car.

I run the P1 owners club and a huge majority of the cars registered are the property of company directors, sales managers etc.

Anything costing 30k+ stands a good chance of being a company car.

I think at this late stage, more and more people are feeling the reality of a huge tax increase next year bite. They are therefore adding the Co2 figure into the equation when they select their next car.

Mines not a company car. Worst thing I ever did going to an allowance. Now I can change whenever I want, not just when the MD says so. Costing me a fortune. Company car tax is peanuts in comparision to running one yourself.
