What is the typical max bhp/lb ft a VF43 is able to make on a 2.0L running V-Power only?

Also same question for the MD321S and the MD195 please...

Both the md321s and md195 would be quite laggy on a 2 litre engine, the vf43 on a standard 2.5 sti has made as much as 360bhp and 390 lb/ft.

So spool-up times REALLY did improve big time with the revised 321 series then (i.e. H, T, T+ and V)?

My next round of mods should get me to around 330-350 on my existing 16g.

If I get 'bored' of it, I prob WILL get the T, yes!

I'd prob have to change my WRX v.1 heads to STi v.3 ones though... then the gearbox ... then the... etc... etc... <groan>

Well Simon... Friday's been and (nearly) gone! ...

Did your customer decide on 'maxing out' the S206 in the end?

So any subjective thoughts - and/or dyno plots - on the comparison between it and the MD321T?

Arghhhh My fuel pump seems to have lost the will to live! So close yet so far!

I was on my way to Surrey Rolling Road to meet Simon when my fuel pump decided it doesn't want to do its job any longer. Had to wait nearly three hours for a RAC recovery truck to transport me home. Will be inspecting the pump in the morning!

Was sooo looking forward to having it mapped, will have to arrange another date with Simon once all is sorted.

Ahhh bugger! Gutted for you mate.

Thing is, believe it or not, I think the Gods were actually smiling on you... Just think if it had failed a few mins/hours later in the middle of a power run, pulling max revs, etc...!!!

Better luck next time... and be sure to post up again when you get it mapped.

banny was saying the 'old' 321S (and 195) - predecessors to the H/T/T+/V - are laggy... not the T ;-)

1.7 bar and makes full boost at just over 4000rpm on the road

H made 411bhp with 357lbs/ft

T made 451bhp with 410lbs/ft

There must be a difference in driveability/response low down, with the smaller turbo being better surely?!?

Depends on how you drive i guess, mines a fully stripped out track and drag strip car Shaun, my revs rarely drop lower then 4000rpm and when it is driven on the road i just cruise around, i know its fast and will beat most cars i come across and have nothing to prove

From what i'd seen on here i expected a big difference on the road but havnt found it so

So you dont notice any difference in spool up between the H and the T, I would have thought the H spooled up well before 4K TBH

Don't get confused between comparing boost, and comparing how the car drives.

He`s not asking you too change, He`s just telling you the MD321T is a little bit more updated than the one you already run

On the road it makes 1.8bar by 4000rpm, it always looks alot slower in making boost on the rollers as i was looking at the graphs
