Please dont say that Dave, he has another 4.5 years left on his contract an hopefully they wont be able to afford to pay him off. Thats the dream anyway.

Now would be a good time for Fergie to enquire about Torres, gets their debt down a smidgeon and gives them the cash to pay the waiter off, genius

Mourinho would look at that squad, and then enquire as to how much money is available to spend before laughing his **** off.....

Would be great to see him back in The Premiership, but not at one of the other "big four" ( I know its only really two now )

You'll probably see him at OT in 20 years time when Fergie jacks it all in.

Unless and it's a big unless, we win The premiership and ECL this season, then he'll go I reckon he wants to surpass Liverpool with 19 titles and take one more Champions League and he'll be satisfied like I said big IF

There is always John Barnes, he cant do it just yet as he has signed up with the Empire for the panto season.

I'm not looking forward to tomorrows game, the plane took off light, as you will already know.

The Liverpool rollercoaster...... one minute flying high over the top, the next into a bottomless dip.

Is it possible Liverpool could go out tonight then? They wont of course because for 1 Uefa will have told the ref this cant happen and 2 if the ref cant help them Uefa will just change the rules to make sure liverpool stay in

Correct. We could lose against Lyon and still go through if Fiorentina lose at home to Lyon and we beat Fiorentina by the required amount of goals. Assuming everyone else beats Debrecen.

It's no fun unless we need to win by 2 clear goals anyway.

Taking Torres off isn't the reason for the late goal is it. You have a greek journey man defender at centre back. look at that. where was the new £20mil man? why take him if he's not fit?

So fiorentina will need a point from 2 games unless Liverpool overturn the 7 goal GD, or so I see it.

Group F looks very interesting !!

1 Inter Milan 6 Pts
2 Rubin Kazan 5 Pts
3 Barcelona 5 Pts
4 Dynamo Kiev 4 Pts

head to head results count first I believe so if Fiorentina and Lyon draw Liverpool would need to beat them by 2 goals or more in the last game at Anfield.

He seemed pretty confident during his after match press interview, I suspect his days are numbered although I'd imagine it'll cost Liverpool a pretty penny to ditch him

He's confident only because he knows the septics can't afford £20m
