Look Mancs can't slag scousers off, for the reason is the similarities between us are what makes us such keen rivals. Shell suits and curly hair have not been around for many years. i could attach many derogatory slurs in your direction too. I am an adult though.
Liverpools results have been poor recently due to the gap in midfield left by Alonso.
The amount of possession we relinquish this season is far greater than last.
Alonso rarely gave the ball away Mascherano relied upon getting the ball to XA when play was broken up. I like JM as a player but he isn't a good passer.
Its not worth giving the ball to lucas as he is not a football player he is at best " a favour for an agent " because he has no skill or technical ability.
Liverpool are not having as much possession as they used to and the ball is being surrendered in midfield more thus increasing the pressure on defenders.
Additionally zonal marking is gifting goals to opposing sides. Liverpool are much weaker this season than last we can only hope to finish second at best, you cannot improve with a weaker team.
As for the comment Torres is a poor player against good defenders that is a total crock of sh!te, only the pea brained would issue a statement with such hilarious content. if i remember poor old vidic and amnesia rio were totally outclassed by him in a game last season.
The correct spelling is they're and not their.

chris, do you think Benitez should look at his formation to get the best out of his better players rather than playing poor ones in a system that has brought 4 defeats already this season?

Is Benitez that stubborn that he won't change from zonal marking? a blind man on a galloping horse can see that it is costing you goals and in effect games. Alonso is a massive loss and it shows just how important he was, a few of my shell suit wearing friends were fuming when Rafa was trying to sell him to get in Gareth Barry and i was so hoping he managed too!

Your defence is weak as is ours, but while ours is weak because we can't get a first choice back 4 playing together for more than one game and our GK is trying to put together an early edition of football bloomers all by himself

Yours is weak because its not good enough, there is not one defender or midfielder that would get in the other top 3 teams barring Stevie G who doesn't really play there much anymore. I include Johnson in that as IMO he is not good at defending and is not better than anything Chelsea have.

Aaron

Oh and i couldn't give a rats *** about my spelling or puncuation, as it is a forum not an english exam. Very sad people point out spelling mistakes in other peoples posts and usually haunt NSR, but if that floats your boat and makes you feel superior to people then good for you and indeed them

might not be on here as much as the P1 is gone (sad loss) but some things never change, thats the *** less minded few on this forum.

there is man purple nosed manc who is bringing down the game slagging off refs to a low level only to mask over what he thought was an easy victory over sunderland. he got found out and now its all wileys fault - get a grip whiskey breathed t0sser.

we have our own defensive problems, maybe agger in for JC, who knows, I'm not the manager, but we have Daniel Agger who is a load better than a druggie centre half.

Couldn't agree more but have been slaughtered for even suggesting it in the past, especially from Fergies biggest fan above.

Care to comment on this point again Ash

Going to plan ash, trying to give you a chance, looks like FIFA will have to come up with something else though.

How about an update on your chances of winning the Premiership?

What you mean is you know nothing about your own team never mind about football in general so throw insults

can you not respond to the zonal marking question? If you seriously believe that Agger is better than Rio, then yourself and Rio apparently both have problems with drugs

I pointed out the poor use of grammar, i know its a forum a bit of banter and a laugh. Poor grammar is a pet hate, soon we will all be talking in abbrevo-acronym speak just like the fat nation we spawned across the Atlantic.
It wasn't to feel superior i believe that no one is better than anybody.
I believe Zonal marking is Bollo£*s and Rafa has wasted large amounts of wedge on junk players.
If he stuck SG back in midfield and played Babel and Torres up front we would score more goals. and be more formidable in the middle.
Babel is a big strong quick player who is not comfortable playing on the wing.
i feel like many other players he has been treated like ****. If your a Brazilian wonder kid Lucas(sh!ter than me) you get treated totally different. Rafa is too stubborn and it costs us dear. If we kept XA we would of been in with a chance, if we win a cup this season it will be an achievement.
As for someones comment on players, top four and quality. the quality is in decline in my view. with the exception of Arsenal who are still the best team to watch. they also keep bringing outstanding football players to the league.

Yeah I agree, although none of the 'big 4' really added to their teams like they usually do. I've a feeling that in January that Rafa and Arsene both will, Chelsea can't and it depends on what happens between now and then as to wether fergie spends though i still feel we need another striker this season.

Default Top Four

Liverpool need a playmaker Aquilani may be that player. Or he may be 20 mil worth of dud. Plus another goal getter. A new manager in Kenny Dalglish.
Arsenal could do with a middle of the park smasher.
Chelsea have a good balance although their age could have an effect later in the year.
Man U can't rely on Giggs for the season, Rooney is a great player but not consistent in the goal department.
Berbatov is a freeloading, took the foot right of the gas should of stayed at spurs player.
Additionally Ryan Giggs is an absolutely fabulous player and a superb professional by the way.
Chelsea have the best squad, Arsenal the best football ethic, Man U The best Manager. (Influence over time added on)
Liverpool The worst owners, Blinkered manager Exceptional team spirit workrate and fans.

Default Wages

In my view, none of them are earning theirs. That includes the manager!!!
A squad of dud players with a minority of good players.
Can't even score a goal without FT or SG. Crap crap crap and crap again.Rant over.

I'm surprised over the lack of comment, was that really the same team that was challenging for the title last season.

Please tell me Rafa did sign that 5 year contract

If, as I believe it, the ref said he did not see the ball hit the beach ball because his view was obscured how can they seriously put the guy on gardening leave ?

He consulted the assistant referee but allowed the goal to stand. He has the final decision which was clearly in violation of the Fifa rules.

He'll probably officiate in the Championship this weekend anyway (as they do), so it's not a punishment. Personally, I think flogging is too good for him . . . Ryan Babel that is.

You can only imagine what Fergie would be doing is this had happened to Utd Certainly not taking it in his stride and ruing his teams poor performance

I pity the poor lad who threw it on the pitch, I bet he is getting some stick and I guess some of it nasty, no doubt the Sun will throw a few grand at him and we'll see his spotty face all over the paper.
