We'll what a cracking game.

And I WAS THERE!

First premiership match for me, but boy what a first match
I agree, Giggs deserved MOTM and not Evra.
However I did get to meet Evra as he was paraded into the Europa VIP suite after the game

I'm definately gonna get over more, although I suspect the next games will I get over to will be in the stands.
VIP section is brilliant by the way, however free drinks from 10.30am really means a rather large hangover the following day - was worth it though

What MOTM did Evra get - one from the club or what? On sky it was Fletcher who although good wasnt as outstanding as Giggs imho even with two goals to his name.

From the club.

Sky plus was set to record the game before I left, unfortunately though the wife set it to record on Saturday by mistake.
I really wanted to see it too, so I'm frantically trying to see if I can find a download.

Any ideas Simon?

Ronaldo is banging in the goals for Madrid. No shock really. He's head and shoulders above almost everybody in that league.

No Manc fans want to comment about yesterday's game?

Having watched it on ESPN, I can see why.

United were terrible. Good squad but too many average players in it. Foster needs to be removed ASAP.

It was the worst first half i've seen from United for a long long while, I agree with STiW Foster needs replacing now as he seems to make the whole back four panick. It'll be good and a welcome sight to see Edwin VDS and Rio back and fully fit. Wellbeck was awful yesterday as was Nani in the first half, only Nani slightly redeemed himself with some great crosses in the second half.

Scholes gave the ball away at every opportunity and thank god he came off at half time! IMO fergie is rotating a little too much as the midfield is completely different every other game. Why we didn't have another striker on the bench i don't know, i know Owen is injured but i'm not sure about Macheda's fitness.

It was poor yesterday, very poor. Turner was outstanding for Sunderland yesterday and i'm surprised Pool didn't come in for him as he looks a good buy for £6m.

In the end it was a very good point because we deserved F**k all.

We were gash, no two ways about it. Nani was poor again and what is the deal with Welbeck? IMO he is sh!te and when he went off the team greatly improved. Fergie reckons he'll be in the world cup squad but I just don't see what the fuss is I'd much rather see Macheda play.

I'd agree with that, dreadful performance, reminded me of the Burnley game, WTF was Foster doing, again !!

I wonder if Machieda has pee'd Fergie off as he hasn't even made the bench since pre Season where he was starting games, somethings not right, only upside was Berba's goal, more of the same please Berba.

I think you'll find players out were injured and no lack of respect. He was resting Giggs due to him playing a lot recently and is no longer a spring chicken

Looking forward to the game - I reckon(hope!) a United win today, 2 - 1

On a different note - I'm going to the United Chelsea game at Old Trafford next year.
VIP suite again too

Well done Pool, we didn't deserve anything from that. One thing i will say is referee's certainly don't favour us like some may think, not after that inconsistant performance.

Much deserved win for Liverpool today. United were terrible. Torres made United **** themselves every time he got the ball. Thought the ref was very poor. Not sure why they were questioning Rio for the goal. Not much he could do. It was a great pass round the other centre back into the forwards path who had the defender then the right side for him. He'd either had had to go through the man for the ball or bring him down. Either way he'd be off and it was a pen. United created nothing.
