Ditto, Liverpool wanted it more, but yet again we were very very poor, poor passing, poor movement, no real threat, no cohesion. As stated in other threads I was amazed we were even top until Saturday.

I'm begining to lose patience with Berbatov now, terrible passing and provided nothing of any note. All my Spurs mates always ribbed me about how Spurs ripped us off over the sale of Alan Brazil, Berbatov's sale could quite easily surpass that.

Good to see Pervy Pleat is as cluless as ever....

Berbatov was poor and he does frustrate a lot between touches of quality but I couldn't pick on him today considering how poor all the others were. He was no better or worse. Rooney was as bad if not worse.

Bloody hell you boys had a touch last night. If Barnsly had any quality upfront you would be out.

You have been lucky a few times this season but still sit were you do in the table. I'd be very worried if i was a PL manager as you can only really get better as i havent seen you play so poorly at begining of a season for a while. Plus your 2nd lol

United have been very poor all year and it's only the odd bits of quality that have enabled them to win games. More points than the same stage last season so not all bad but really need to up the quality of the play and cut out a lot of silly mistakes. would help if Fergie knew his best XI.

relatively comfortable win for united but I cant help feeling that they should be humping a weakened Blackburn team as Chelsea did. Rooney's finish was class and Berbatov took his goal well.

**** me that was a sloppy display and very lucky not to lose our unbeaten record at home !!

A bit of a flurry of goals for the Chelsea and Man U at the end.

I think Obertan made a good impact when he came on - some good runs down the left flank

I was at the game last night and the game changed when Rooney & Evra came on, they just looked like they would score. Scholes was awesome, just a shame he can't seem to string a few good performances together Great to see Fletcher back, he brings so much to the midfield and pace to the game that Carrick & Anderson don't ( both feet on the bus now Funkii )

Sadly Gary Neville is long past it, he looked 2-3 yards too slow and a bit of a liability at times. Thought Wez Brown did a far better job at right back and should be there every game.

Owen is looking good too and getting match fit again, i hope he makes the Englan squad

I'm excited by Obertan, he actually looks like he's capable of doing something everytime he has the ball, I think with a bit of a run in the team and maybe a goal or two his confidence will increase even more.
Shows the lack of knowledge these commentators have though, whoever was doing the commentry the other day said hes not a tricky player but is very direct
I've seen him play a few reserve games and his feet are so quick, dare I say it almost like Ronnie

I'd second those comments. I think Nani is now past the converting natural talent into the finished article stage, but I cant help but think living with his compatriot never helped him.

He's deffo gone off the ball since Ronnie left. I think it's just a matter of time but we might see him going at the end of the season.
